chapter 4

Trexton In MM >>>>

Walking in the house and seeing it was a total wreck was the highlight of my night.

Karmen was spread across the living room floor with her foot near Josh's mouth and her hand in a bowl of M&Ms.

I leaned down waking up Josh , but he caught my hand before I even touched him.

"Get this girl off of me." He says in a breathless way.

I just picked her up and brought her to her room chuckling.

"So how'd it go ? Was he nice? Did he try anything ? Do I have to kill him?" Josh threw a million questions at me.

The only thing I wanted to tell him though was about Trexton.

"My date isn't important ; I need to tell you about Trexton. " He looks at me suspiciously.

"Spill. Now. " He says , through gritted teeth. His angers getting the best of him.

"Calm down. Let's go in the living room and talk about this quietly." I say pointing at a sleeping Karmen that he was waking.

I didn't know how Josh would react , but I needed this situation handled without Dre being brought into it. Trexton has done many things , bad things. I don't want Dre to get hurt. I know Josh knows how to handle this.

"So , what's up ?" He tried so hard not to sound frustrated.

"Trexton basically held me hostage at the door after Dre dropped me off and told me he wasn't giving up on trying to be with me." I say.

"What the actual fuck? Does he need me to do more damage ?" Josh roars. I'm pretty sure he just shook the whole apartment.

"He said he likes challenges and that's exactly what I am. I don't see why he still wants me. What is it gonna take?" I ask myself more than Josh.

"He wants your innocence. Trexton has been known to play games with his friends. The one who gets the most V-Cards wins . Your on the top of everyone's list Sasha. " He says looking disappointed.

"Why have I never known this?" I say getting angrier and angrier.

" We both know I was cool with him at one point , and even though I knew it was wrong .. I took my fair share of V-Cards as well." Oh my gosh.

Did Josh ever try to take mine ? Is that why he never told me? God my head hurts.

"Josh- "

" No Sasha , I never tried to take yours. But , Trexton tried to make me. Which is why I think he is still trying." Josh says getting frustrated.

" What the fuck does that mean ? Explain. Stop leaving me high and dry. I have a dope boy stalking me and my best friend knows why. Spill." I say getting hostile.

"When we were in 10'th grade , remember the party I begged you to go to?" I nod so he continues.

" Well , that night was the night every nigga in the world finally noticed you had curves , and you were more than a pretty face. " He sat down and I did also. I knew things were bout to get interesting.

" Niggas left and right were trying to holla at you , but you were stuck to my side , and I was distracting you so you wouldn't notice."

"Why? I mean why not let me have fun and do me? I remember that and now I notice why you never left my side. " I really am curious right now.

" Trexton told me the day before this party that if I didn't take your innocence, that he would. He has ways other than just flirting. He will spike your drink or anything. So I kept you occupied. I couldn't let that happen. Especially after it being after your mom. You needed no more trauma in your life." I'm on the verge of tears.

" Josh , you are literally my best friend. My big brother. Everything that you do for Karmen and I is amazing. I don't want you in this though. I can handle it. " I really need to wrap my head around this.

I can't let the people I love get involved. Even if Josh knows how to handle it. I'm just gonna fix this my way.

"No! I know what your planning in your devious little head , and it's not happening. Playing with him will only lead to you drugged in his bed. You have to let me deal with this." Josh screams.

" Josh I can do this. I'm a big girl. You don't have to fight all my battles !" I'm really getting irritated. He knew exactly what I was planning

He's so angry , he's been like this since we were children. Everyone knows he's over-protective of me.

Yes , it seems like he has feelings for me , but we got that across once we started high school that it's wasn't like that. Our parents even believed we were destined soul mates , you know like off the movies?

We know it's not like that though. After 8'th grade and us kissing at the homecoming dance , we knew it wasn't meant to be.

" No Sash. I can't. He's dangerous. I can't let you be anywhere around him alone or even around him. Think about Karmen. What happens when you play with him and he threatens your family to make you keep coming back? " Josh gets serious and quiet.

I didn't think of it like that. He's thinking ahead of me.

"Your right. We'll figure something out, but for now , goodnight . I love you. " I get up and head to my room.

"GOODNIGHT." He yells , closing his door.

Later that night

BOOM

" Sissy , I'm scared !" K ran and jumped in my bed.

The thunder storm just started but I already knew it was gonna get worst. The lights were flickering and I knew the power would be out soon.

I picked up Karmen and grabbed a lighter and some candles. I knew I should be prepared for no lights.

" SASHA ! Yall come sleep with me , I know your both scared ." Josh yelled.

He hit the nail right on the head , because both me and K were scared of storms.

We had different reasons. But the same concept. My mother died the night of a horrible storm and it was just apart of the trauma . My sister is scared of them from I'm guessing watching me grow up and be scared of them.

" COMING! " Baby girl and I yelled.

This is how stormy nights were spent. Us sleeping in Josh's bed , with Karmen in the middle and Josh and I on the outsides.

" Sasha , your mom asked me to do something the night she passed ." Josh whispers .

" What ? Tell me . Why haven't you told me before ?" This is confusing.

" Then it didn't matter , now it does" I stay quiet so he can go on.

" She told me to- "
