DREAM'S POV
It was early in the day and my friend Niki had just texted me asking me to get coffee with her. I quickly typed 'I'll be there soon' and grabbed my helmet and put it on, it was all black with a small green smiley face on the top. My gear was already on, so I grabbed my keys and left my house.
I have loved motorcycles ever since I was a kid. They intrigued me the way toy cars or Barbie dolls intrigued kids. My main focus was always motorcycles. My dad showed me from a young age that I could have one just like his. And before I got the chance to grow up and learn how to use one, he died. He had severe liver issues and one day his body just shut down. I was only 9, and now I am 25 with a dream to be just like him.
I started up my bike and zoomed off to the coffee shop. I loved the breeze that was spread over my body, and the intense feeling of danger every time I sped. It was like I was attached to the adrenalin every time I missed a crash. It was the feeling of freedom that I loved most.

I parked my bike on the street and put it on the kickstand. I saw a few girls giggling and pointing at me I just waved and walked into the coffee shop. I pulled my helmet off and searched for Niki. She was sitting in a seat in the back corner. She waved me over and I sat in the chair across from her. "Hi, Dream." She smiled at me. I set my helmet down on the table. "Hi, Niki." She pushed a coffee my way. "I got your favorite." I smiled at her and grabbed it. "Thank you." I took a sip and it burned my tongue slightly. She nodded and sipped on hers.
"Would you want to join a book club?" I looked up at her slightly confused. I knew she worked at a bookshop, but I never knew she was in a book club. "I mean it depends on the days, but if you really want me to I will." I could tell she was shocked. She knew I wasn't a fan of books in the slightest. "Really?" She smiled. "My friend George runs it, he will be so happy if you do." She rambled. I was surprised to hear that another boy did it. "I mean why not check it out? I could end up liking books." I shrugged.
"Yeah right, Dream." She giggled. We talked for a bit longer before she had to go to work. I sat for a few seconds before getting up. I realize Niki left her wallet. I quickly grabbed it and left the coffee shop. I looked around for her car, but she was already gone. I knew she worked at a bookstore called "The Enchanted Shelf," so I put on my helmet and got on my bike. I sped off and made my way downtown. I was thankful that it was only a few minutes away.
I parked my bike once again and took off my helmet. I walked into the bookshop and took a look around. It was dimly lit and looked like the most homely place ever. The shelves were dark wood and the walls were a royal shade of blue. I took my eyes always from the walls and looked for Niki. I saw her standing behind the counter. "Niki!" She looked up with surprise on her face. "What are you doing here?" She came out from around the counter and walked up to me.
"You left your wallet." I held it up. "Oh thank you, Dream!" She gently took it out of my hands and tucked it in her pocket. "Niki, can you take these boxes out" I heard a male voice. And then I heard a loud thump. "Fuck." The random male voice said.
Niki looked back and jogged into the back room. I naturally followed her to see what was happening. "George you dumbass!" She giggled and put her hands on her legs. I looked in and saw a dark-haired boy. He had chocolate brown eyes and had the most beautiful facial features. He didn't see me yet. "Niki, stop laughing at me, and help me up." He huffed. I laughed to myself. And he had a cute British accent.
Niki looked back at me and laughed. "Dream, could you help him?" I shook my head and laughed. That was when he saw me. When his eyes looked down my body. I could tell he was lost for breath. I set down my helmet and walked over to him. He followed my movements with his eyes.
I held my hand out and he grabbed it. I pulled him up in one quick motion, and he was on his feet. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Y-yes." He nodded quickly and let go of my hand. I laughed at his nervousness.
"Well I have to get going, Niki." I walked back and picked my helmet up. "I'll see you later." I smiled and walked out of the bookstore.

As I was making my way home I couldn't stop thinking about the boy in the bookstore. He was utterly gorgeous.
I walked into my house and shut the door behind me. I saw Sapnap and Karl in the kitchen. "Hey," Sapnap spoke. "welcome home." He snorted and I just shook my head. Sapnap was my roommate. Sometimes he was annoying, but most of the time it was chill.
I put my things on the kitchen table and took off my shoes. "Where were you?" Karl looked up from his phone. "I went to get coffee with Niki, and she left her wallet so I had to go to the bookstore to drop it off." I shrugged.
Karl's face lit up. "Did you meet George?" He set his phone down and gave me his full attention. "Yeah, I did. He fell in the back room so I helped him up." I laughed. Karl giggled. "Yeah, he owns the bookstore, and he's the one who started the book club that Niki and I are in." I nodded.
"Yeah, she's getting me to go this Friday." Karl immediately looked at Sapnap. "Can you please go now, Sap?" He pleaded and put his hands together. I saw Sanpap roll his eyes. "Dream's going so you won't be alone!" Karl jumped up and down.
Sapnap gave it and Karl was now running around the house in excitement. I shook my head at the two boys who were clearly in love. I knew this because Sapnap constantly told me about Karl and would never shut up about him.
I was now happy for Friday. I was happy that I would be able to see the pretty brunette once again.
