Yn shuffled down the stairs in her pajamas, rubbing her eyes and yawning as she woke up. As she reached the bottom, the warm, savory aroma of breakfast caught her attention, making her pause.

"Good morning, Appa," she greeted, her voice still soft with sleep. She sniffed the air, a delighted smile forming on her face. "Mmm, where is that delicious smell coming from?" she asked excitedly.

Her father turned from the kitchen with a warm smile. "Good morning, princess. I made your favorite dish... guess what?"

Yn tapped her chin, pretending to be deep in thought as she took in the scent. "It smells like... sundubu broth!"

Her father chuckled, pleased. "Yup! It's your favorite—chicken broth! Come sit, it's ready. We'll eat together. I also made some tteokbokki."

Yn's face lit up even more as she hurried to the table. "You're the best, Appa!"

They both sat down to enjoy their meal, savoring the comforting flavors of their breakfast together.

"Why don't you just hire a maid to cook and clean?" Yn asked, a teasing glint in her eye. "I don't think the gardener can handle everything, you know," she added with a hint of sarcasm,

Her father chuckled, shaking his head. "I could, but I enjoy cooking. You know that. And as for the cleaning, it's not such a big task since you were away for a whole 14 months. It's been easier to keep everything in order."

He looked at her with a slightly disappointed smile. "But I have to say, I'm a bit let down that the very first thing you did after coming back from New York was head straight to the office."

She pouted adorably, her lower lip jutting out as she looked at him with wide, pleading eyes. "Appa, it was something important! I know you won't stay mad at your yn, right?"

Seung-hyun smiled at his daughter, his expression warm as he listened. After a few moments of comfortable silence, he looked at her thoughtfully. "Yn, you suddenly came back from New York, and you seemed a bit preoccupied yesterday when you got home... Are you alright? Is something bothering you?"

Yn caught her father's hand, her fingers squeezing gently. "Appaaaaa, I know I can't hide anything from you," she said with a soft sigh. "It's just... my projects in New York wrapped up, so I won't need to go back there anymore. And, well... there's an issue here—someone filed a case against our company. It's the rival company that lost the tender two years ago. They're throwing fake allegations at us, but don't worry. I'm handling it."

Seung-hyun nodded, his pride evident. "I know my daughter can handle anything. Soon, though, I'll be back to work at the hospital, so I may not be able to check in on you as much."

Yn smiled, lifting his hand and kissing it gently. "Appa, I'm almost 25 now. You don't have to worry about me like you used to. I'm all grown up," she said, laughing. "Focus on taking care of your patients, alright?"

They laughed together, enjoying the moment after finishing breakfast. As yn took the dishes to the sink, her father called out, "You don't have to wash those, Yn. I can take care of it!"

"I'll do it myself, Appa," she insisted, playfully sticking out her tongue. "You cooked, so it's only fair I clean up."

Her father chuckled. "But you just got back from New York! You should be relaxing, not doing chores."

"Relaxing is overrated," she replied with a grin. "Besides, it's a great way to wake up!"

"Alright, if you insist," he said, shaking his head with a smile.
