today was the day aoba johsai was coming to inarizaki for their match. the boys were super pumped up and y/n wasn't nervous to see maddog, she knew she had the team to back her up without feeling guilt thanks to suna. he has helped her see the better in things when they continued a late night conversation which resulted in them falling asleep in one another's arms.

"good luck on your match, you'll do great" y/n smiles to the boys ignoring maddogs obvious eyes staring into her

"thanks l/n!" atsumu smiles giving her a hug

the match went on, inarizaki was winning easily. when they got their first break y/n realized she never did answer semi.

inarizaki ends up winning and they go to shake the teams hands. y/n was feeling a little skeptic about shaking maddogs but she couldn't be a wuss. she shakes the teams hands and once she got to his hands there was a tight grip, it felt like all her bones were going to cave in. y/n shot him a nasty glare as she continued to shake their hands.

y/n pov

"good job today! i knew you would be able to do it" i smile to my teammates

"thanks for being awesome l/n" gin thanks.

we all celebrate by going out for dinner that night, we had a lot of fun. the bond i have with this team was really amazing, it reminds me of shiratorizawa. i have felt very content with life as of recently, i have solid friends and don't have to worry about my home life too often. i know i can't stay with suna forever but its a safe place for now until i can afford my own apartment.

the team decides we should probably go back to our homes so i drive suna and i to his house. we enter the house and say hello to his mom and sister for a little while then suna decides to go shower so i head into my room.

i open the door to my room and i am greeted with a vase of flowers on my nightstand and i look around my room in confusion. did mai leave these for me?

"BOO!" a voice that i know all too well tells as he jumps out of my closet

"ah! wait, what?! semi??" i screech as he hugs me and i slowly hug back "what are you doing here?"

"i told you i'd come visit sometime didn't i?"

"well how do you know where suna lives?"

"you share your location with me, then i went here and introduced myself to mai and explained to her who i am" he explains letter go of the hug
