—Chapter Four—
Pretend to be having an affair."Dating? My ass!"
She scoffed at the mere idea of dating Park Jimin. It was the last thing on her agenda. She didn't want to see his stupid, handsome face ever again, let alone be in a relationship with him.
She had made that mistake once, and it wouldn't be happening again. "Y/N, ma'am?" Ella's persistent voice cut through her thoughts, making her even more vexed.
"What?!" she yelled, already irritable.
This whole week had been a nightmare. First, she'd run into her past lover at that party, then spilled a drink all over him, danced with him in nightclubs, and somehow ended up in bed with him. Now, news channels were buzzing with rumors about her dating Jimin.
It would have been so much easier if she hadn't gone to that damn anniversary celebration. None of this would have happened.
"T-The manager is calling," Ella stammered, holding up the ringing phone with a shaky hand.
Y/N rolled her eyes, feeling completely overwhelmed. She snatched the phone from Ella's grip and answered the call, saying nothing as she listened to her manager's voice.
"Y/N, we need to talk about this situation. The press is going wild, and we need to strategize," her manager said urgently.
After a brief moment of silence, Y/N ended the call, her frustration boiling over. "Great. Just what I needed," she muttered, tossing the phone onto the couch.
Ella looked at her, concern etched on her face. "What do we do now?"
"Let's go to the office right away," Y/N blurted out, her frustration bubbling over.
"But, Y/N, ma'am, you're still in your nightwear," Ella mumbled, her eyes scanning Y/N's attire from top to bottom with concern.
"Does it look like I give a mere fuck?" Y/N shot back, her irritation evident. She was done with the drama and just wanted to tackle the mess head-on, regardless of what she was wearing.
Ella opened her mouth to protest, then closed it again, realizing there was no point in arguing. "Okay, but maybe you could at least throw on a jacket or something?"
"The media needs sexy Y/N and I am giving them that."

Y/N stepped out of her car, having driven recklessly all the way from her house, leaving poor Ella feeling nauseous in the passenger seat. Her head was spinning, but she had grown used to it. Whenever Y/N was angry, she drove like a maniac, putting both their lives at risk.
Slamming the car door shut, she instantly attracted a swarm of media journalists who had gathered around the actress.
Dressed in a silk night dress, she looked alluring as always. Y/N was known for her unconventional fashion choices, constantly setting unique trends on social media.
