—Chapter Three—
A sight to be worshipped.Jimin was peacefully dozing with his girl in his arms, the gentle rhythm of her breathing making him feel like he was finally home after years away.
Being with her brought a deep sense of tranquility that made his heart flutter with a unique kind of peace.
Y/N's head rested against his strong chest, and Jimin had his chin comfortably perched on her head. They were tangled together like pieces of a puzzle—just the perfect fit.
But then, his peaceful nap was rudely interrupted by the buzzing of his phone. He rubbed his eyes to clear his vision and glanced at the screen, letting out a heavy sigh. He was torn between ignoring the call and wanting to keep Y/N in his arms forever.
But it was a business call, and he knew he had to answer it. Reluctantly, he picked up the phone, trying his best not to disturb the sleepy girl clinging to him.
"Hello," he mumbled in a hushed voice, careful not to wake her. He listened as the other person spoke, absentmindedly playing with Y/N's beautiful, long, wavy hair.
"I'll be there," he whispered wearily, his voice heavy with exhaustion. Getting up from the bed, he carefully arranged pillows around her, making sure she was comfortable.
As the golden rays of the sun streamed in, they painted her face with a warm glow. Jimin couldn't help but admire her features—so clean and distinct. She'd definitely grown even more beautiful over the years.
He recalled how soft and cute she used to look, but now she exuded a captivating femininity. No longer just the adorable Y/N, she had transformed into a super sexy version of herself.
Approaching her, he pressed a gentle kiss on her pouting lips—lips that had always driven him wild, whether it was ten years ago or right then.
"It hurts that I still love you, even more than ever," he sighed, caressing her soft cheeks and biting his lip.
"I could never move on because I can't find another Y/N anywhere. It's crazy how all I want is you," he confessed, his voice laced with longing and regret.
"You have no idea how hard it's been living without you, without your touch. I've missed every little thing about you."
"Even when I was mad at you, I still missed you all these years. I couldn't find anyone like you, and here I am again, holding you in my arms."
"Look at how fate is messing with us. This same old love is driving me nuts, Muffin," he whispered, pressing a tender kiss on her cheek as a single tear rolled down his own.
As he wiped away the tear, he took a deep breath, feeling the weight on his heart. "I know you're struggling with your career right now," he said softly.
