SAMMY

When the Texan girl woke up, Brooklynn was curled up, with a few makeshift towels placed between her legs so as not to stain the sand-colored mattress.

That day the group was supposed to move back to their base where it all began and hopefully find Bumpy again to have an armored friend in case of need.

A hand from the Texan touched Brooklynn's shoulder to wake her up but she moved away with a small grunt.
<<... Give me 5 more minutes Sammy... >>
Brooklynn said, her voice thick with sleep.

Sammy chuckled and got up to exit the cabin to find the albino girl, taking a break from the morning sun in the shade of the tiny hallway that led to all the cabins.

<<Good morning... >>
She greeted the ivory haired girl as she yawned slightly.
<<... Yasmina is still sleeping... >>

<<Well, good morning to you too... Brooklynn and I sleep in a king size bed... You seem tired, you can join her if you want but... Be careful... She steals your blanket and might throw you out of bed> >
The Texan said smiling sweetly as he gave her a light friendly pat on the shoulder as he passed her.

Sammy walked across the deck of the small boat, taking a fresh breath of air from the sea breeze that was carried by the wind.

She could glimpse her friend's sleeping form, sleeping on the white couch where she had last seen her that night and walked over to sit on the floor beside her, enjoying the sunlight as she imagined herself back in Texas , with her cow Bessie grazing a few tufts of grass nearby.

Suddenly she felt moisture on her shoulder and turned, realizing that the sporty girl had turned towards her in her sleep and was hiding her eyes from the sunlight against her shoulder.

What made her move, however, were the little moans of discomfort coming from the girl.Sammy turned her body towards her, noticing the furrowed eyebrows.
<<Yaz? Hey...>>
Sammy gently stroked the back of her hand and the sportswoman woke up.
<<Was it a nightmare?>>

Yasmina tiredly sat up, absentmindedly running a hand through her hair as she nodded with a sigh.

Her face was tired, her dark circles were darker than the day before, making Sammy feel so sorry for the girl in front of her.

The Texan gave her a sudden hug that left the sporty girl confused.
<<Sorry... I thought you might need it...>>
Sammy whispered softly, holding her friend tightly to her.

KENJI

Kenji was awakened by Ben's frantic knocking on the door leading to his cabin, causing him to rise from his bed with a frustrated grunt as he opened the door.
<<What is it? What's happening?>>
He asked, his voice thick with sleep as he yawned loudly.

<<We need to talk... You and me... Now...>>
He said, hastily entering the room before closing it behind him.

The rich boy huffed as he sat down on the mattress.
<<Look Ben... If you want to talk about how you don't trust MaryBelle you're wasting your time... She may not have told us everything... But I trust Brooklynn and Dar's judgment->>

<<I think Yaz is hiding something from us... >>
He said looking at the other boy.

Kenji blinked.

She knew their friend suffered from nightmares but she didn't think she could hide anything from them.
<<What do you mean?>>
He asked, confused.

Ben looked Kenji straight in the eyes.
<<I think Yaz is getting sick>>
