It was 6 o'clock, and the office was winding down. Employees packed their bags, chatting about evening plans and heading towards the exit. The usual hum of the end-of-day buzz filled the air, but Khushi remained engrossed at her desk, fingers flying over the keyboard as she typed away, focused and determined. The soft glow of her computer screen illuminated her face, highlighting the furrow in her brow as she concentrated.

"Khushi," Aman's voice broke through her concentration, making her look up. He was standing by her desk, a friendly smile on his face. "This was your temporary place since ASR wasn't around. Let me show you to your actual workspace—your things will be shifted there."

Khushi blinked in surprise. She had thought this small, tidy cabin was her designated space. The sudden change made her slightly anxious, but she quickly composed herself. "So, where will I be sitting?" she asked, curiosity mingling with her surprise.

Aman gestured for her to follow. She closed her laptop, tucked it under her arm, and picked up her bag. As they walked through the office, they reached the far end of the hallway where Aman's office was located. At the end of the hall was a staircase, one she had noticed before in her brief tour of the floor.

"Up here," Aman said, taking the lead as they began ascending the staircase. Khushi followed, her heart beating a little faster with each step, not knowing what to expect.

When they reached the top, Khushi found herself on a floor that radiated a different kind of elegance altogether. The atmosphere was quiet, almost serene, but there was an underlying sense of power and authority. To her left was a spacious lounge area with a plush, expansive sofa, its neutral tones complemented by the soft glow of recessed lighting. On the right was a neat, modern desk setup, and there was another one within a glass-walled cabin—her designated workspace. The cabin had a large sliding glass door that offered her a clear view of the surroundings, providing a sense of openness despite its enclosed nature. This Space was made such that she would sit around and work while all the confidential documents were neatly tucked behind the glass setup where she would also get privacy.
