One crisp autumn day, Uraraka made a decision. It was time to confront her fears and bring Deku to meet her parents. She hoped that sharing her secret with them might bring her family closer together, might help them understand why she had chosen this path.
They arrived at her home, a quaint two-story house nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The leaves danced in the breeze, creating a serene backdrop to the turmoil in her heart. She took a deep breath, turned to Deku, and said, "I'll be right back."Deku watched as she disappeared into the house, his heart pounding in his chest.
He knew this was a big step for her, and he was there to support her no matter what happened. He hovered outside the window, his eyes peeled, ready to intervene if necessary. The conversation inside grew heated, the words a tapestry of love and anger. Uraraka's voice trembled as she told her parents about her vigilante work, about her belief in heroes even when the world had turned its back on her.
Her mother's face was a mask of shock, her father's of disappointment. And then the unthinkable happened. Her mother's voice, filled with revulsion, cut through the silence like a knife. "You're a monster," she spat. "What you're doing is wrong. You're bringing shame upon this family."Deku's heart sank as he saw Uraraka's shoulders slump, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Her father's face was a storm of emotions, but in the end, he said nothing to contradict his wife's harsh words.
The door slammed shut, and Uraraka stepped out, her eyes red and puffy. She looked up at Deku, her gaze filled with a mix of pain and determination. "Let's go," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. As they walked away from the house, Uraraka felt a part of herself die. The rejection was like a dagger in her heart, but she knew she couldn't let it define her. They had a mission, and she was committed to it.
The night grew colder, the stars above them a silent witness to their pain. Deku reached out and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "You're not a monster," he said firmly. "You're the bravest person I know."Uraraka looked up at him, her eyes shimmering with hope. "Thank you," she whispered. "Let's keep fighting." And with that, they turned back to the city, their hearts heavy but their resolve stronger than ever.
They were heroes, vigilantes of the night. And together, they would forge a new path, one that didn't need the approval of the world or even their families. They had each other, and that was all that mattered.
