"It's called beginners luck" Izzie's smile was smug as she tilted her head looking over to me. Her win streak at the moment on Mario Kart was three for three, safe to say it was starting to aggravate me.

"You've definitely played this before"

"I literally haven't, this is the first time."

I hummed in response causing a laugh to fall from her lips.

"You're getting so mad" she leaned over tugging at my cheek.

"I'm not." I replied in a monotone voice.

"Omg, you're actually mad I'm winning."

"Omg. I'm literally not." My tone mocking hers.

"You're so cute when you're mad."

"How would you know, I've never been mad around you."

She tilted her head, her eyebrows raised giving a suggestive look.

"You're cheating, I just haven't figured out how."

"Told you beginners luck."

I held out my controller to swap with hers, "swap, I reckon you have the lucky one."

"Leah, I don't have a lucky controller I'm just better at Mario Kart than you."

"If you haven't then you wouldn't mind swapping." I grinned raising an eyebrow.

Izzie took the controller from my hands, handing me hers as she laughed.

"You're actually so cute!" She whispered, shaking her head as we got ready for another game.

"You can't steal Toad" she squealed.

"He's clearly lucky" I laughed.

"Fine then, I'll be the princess one and still win."

"Good luck." I offered out a hand shake.

Izzie grinned holding her hand out as I pulled away, "I even knew you were going to do that."

I laughed at her reaction as she scrunched her face.

"No! Fuck sake, why are mine moving so slow." My voice raised Izzie lead the race again.

Her laugh echoed through the room, it only heightened my frustration. I was never great at losing, I was too competitive.

Izzie dropped a banana peel which caused Toad to twirl and slow down.

"Omg, you're actually pissing me off now."

"Calm down it's a game."

"Then let me win."

"That wouldn't be very fair if I just let you win."

Izzie continued to accelerate forward eventually winning the game. I dropped the controller to the sofa beside me, sitting back against the sofa as my head hung over the back.

Izzie laughed as she stood from the sofa walking around the back, she cupped my face as she looked deeply into my eyes. A soft smile creeping through at the sight of her.

"It's a game, chill." She said as she leaned in kissing my forehead.

Her lips were soft, her kiss was gentle. As she pulled away my eyes were instantly drawn to her as they usually were.

"Do you have a pair of shorts I can borrow? I'm really warm."

I nodded pushing my body off the sofa, I lead us upstairs to my bedroom. Pulling out a pair of shorts, I turned to Izzie removing her jeans. My eyes darted up avoiding looking.
