Lunch was a lively affair in the cafeteria, the noise of chattering students and clattering trays creating an energetic atmosphere. Minho and Jisung found a spot at a table, sliding into their seats side by side, which felt strangely normal now. Minho had gotten used to the presence of Jisung next to him, but he could feel the curious eyes of their friends as soon as they settled down.

"Hey, what's this?" Felix leaned forward, resting his chin in his hands, a teasing grin spreading across his face. "I see Jisung and Minho are sitting together. What kind of secret meeting is this?"

Seungmin raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Are you two plotting something? Because if it's to take over the school, I'd like to be in on it."

Jisung rolled his eyes, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks. "It's just lunch. Chill out, guys."

"Yeah, just lunch," Minho echoed, his tone playful as he nudged Jisung with his shoulder. "We're not starting a revolution here. Just having a casual meal."

Hyunjin, ever the dramatic one, leaned back in his chair, feigning shock. "Casual meal? With Minho? I'm not sure I believe it."

Jisung groaned, burying his face in his hands for a moment, overwhelmed by the teasing. "Can you all just drop it already?"

Felix laughed, leaning closer. "Cmon, Jisung, we just want to know what's going on between you two. You went from 'don't talk to me' to 'let's share lunch' in record time."

Minho shot Felix a look, but he couldn't suppress his own grin. "There's nothing going on. We're just friends, right, Jisung?" He nudged him again, but this time with a playful glint in his eyes, as if he was daring Jisung to say otherwise.

Jisung hesitated, glancing at Minho. "Right... friends." The word felt odd hanging in the air, a little too light to encompass everything that had shifted between them recently.

Seungmin wasn't convinced, his expression skeptical. "Friends who share a table? That's new. Since when did you become so friendly, Minho?"

"I don't know, maybe I'm just in a generous mood," Minho replied nonchalantly, leaning back in his chair with a casual air. But inside, he was buzzing with excitement.

Jisung took a bite of his food, trying to ignore the warmth creeping into his cheeks. He caught Minho's eye for a moment, and there was a spark of something unspoken between them—a silent acknowledgment of the tension that both excited and terrified him.

"Seriously, though," Hyunjin interjected, leaning closer with a conspiratorial grin. "What's going on? You two have been attached at the hip since the trip. It's suspicious."

"Maybe they're just getting to know each other better," Felix chimed in, an exaggerated wink aimed at Minho. "You know, to see if they can tolerate each other outside of school. That's progress, right?"

Jisung felt his stomach flutter uncomfortably at the thought. He wasn't sure if he wanted to think about the implications of that statement, especially since he'd started feeling something more than just friendship towards Minho.

"Okay, okay, I admit it," Minho said dramatically, leaning in conspiratorially as if sharing a secret. "I've been harboring a secret crush on Jisung for ages, and now I'm finally making my move." He shot Jisung a teasing smile that made his heart race.

Jisung felt the heat rise in his cheeks, and he was about to protest when Minho continued, "Nah, I'm just messing with you guys. Jisung is just a good friend who happens to have a really cute smile." (lie buzzer wya)

"Cute smile, huh?" Seungmin quipped, grinning widely. "Is that your way of flirting, Minho?"

Minho rolled his eyes, trying to appear unaffected while secretly relishing the moment. "Shut up, Seungmin. You're just jealous because I'm better at flirting than you."
