In this one, Louis is Liam's cousin, and not a part of one Direction

Setting: London, on a short break from the One Direction tour

Harry's heart raced as he heard Liam's voice through the hotel door. He glanced around the room nervously, adjusting his shirt collar for the third time in a minute. The rest of the band didn't know, but he had been secretly dating Louis, Liam's cousin, for a whole year now. This wasn't the first time they'd met up under the radar, but the stakes felt higher each time, especially with how easily things could go wrong.

A few moments later, Louis walked through the door behind Liam, all tousled hair and a casual grin, but his eyes locked on Harry for a split second too long. Harry smiled subtly, feeling that familiar, warm sense of happiness just from seeing Louis.

"Good to see you again, mate!" Niall said, clapping Louis on the back as he entered. "We've missed having you around!"

"Ah, I've missed it too, Niall," Louis replied, playing it cool as he slung an arm around his cousin, Liam. "But I wouldn't miss a chance to see you all, especially with this break."

Harry tried to focus on the conversation between Liam and Louis, but he felt his gaze drifting, sneaking glances whenever he thought no one would notice. He caught Louis doing the same, and each stolen glance made his chest tighten.

Later That Day:

Finally, as everyone relaxed, Louis managed to catch Harry's eye and subtly tilt his head toward the back hallway. Harry felt his heart skip a beat; this was the moment he'd been waiting for since Louis had arrived.

Excusing himself casually, he slipped out, finding Louis waiting around the corner, leaning against the wall with a mischievous grin.

"Miss me?" Louis whispered, grabbing Harry's hand and pulling him closer.

"Every second," Harry breathed, finally closing the distance as he kissed Louis. The kiss was electric, a surge of all the bottled-up longing from weeks apart.

Harry's hands found their way to Louis's waist, pulling him close as Louis kissed him deeper, fingers threading through Harry's curls. Every touch felt like it was making up for all the time they'd spent hiding and pretending they were just friends.

They pulled apart slightly, breathless, but Louis's eyes sparkled with mischief as he held Harry's hand tightly. "I don't know how much longer I can keep this up, Harry. Pretending to be just Liam's cousin when all I want is to—"

"—to kiss me senseless?" Harry finished for him with a grin, leaning in again.

They lost track of time, wrapped up in each other, sneaking kisses and whispered words, letting themselves be as close as they wanted, just for a little while. But they knew they couldn't stay hidden forever. They eventually had to return to the rest of the group, pretending nothing had happened, but both of them were buzzing with that secret shared happiness.

Later That Evening:

Hours passed, and Harry finally got some time alone with Louis in his hotel room. They were tangled together, exchanging soft kisses, when there was an unexpected knock on the door. They both froze, glancing at each other in horror.

"Harry, it's Niall!" a voice called through the door.

Panicked, they scrambled apart, but it was too late. Niall opened the door, his eyes widening as he saw them in a compromising position. He stared, mouth agape, before he let out a nervous laugh and hurriedly closed the door again.

"Uh—Liam!" they heard Niall shout down the hallway. "I think you should talk to Louis and Harry!"

Harry buried his face in his hands, groaning. "We're never going to hear the end of this."

Louis chuckled, shrugging. "Well, it was bound to happen eventually, right?"

Not long after, Liam appeared at the door, looking confused and slightly exasperated. "Is there something you both want to tell me?"

Harry and Louis shared a glance before Louis stepped forward, rubbing the back of his neck. "Look, Li, I know this might be... unexpected, but Harry and I have been together for a while now. We just didn't want to make things complicated for you."

Liam studied them for a moment, then sighed, a small smile breaking through his serious expression. "Honestly, Louis, as long as you're both happy, that's all I care about. Just, maybe... keep it down a little next time?"

They all shared a laugh, the tension broken, and Harry felt a massive weight lift off his shoulders. There was no more hiding, no more sneaking around—it was just them now, together and accepted.

As the night wound down, they all gathered in the lounge. Niall was chatting with Zayn, who'd sat a little too close to him on the couch, their hands brushing. Louis nudged Harry, nodding towards them. "Looks like we're not the only secret couple around here," he whispered with a smirk.

Harry chuckled, feeling happier and more at peace than he had in a long time. He reached over, taking Louis's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. He didn't need to hide anymore—and that was the best feeling in the world.
