As they navigated their feelings, the threat from the outside world began to loom larger. Late one night, as they cuddled on the couch, Leaka received a text from an unknown number that sent chills down her spine.
"Who is it?" Lilly asked, sensing Leaka's sudden tension.
"It's just a random number," Leaka replied, but her fingers trembled as she opened the message. "It says... 'We know what you've been up to. You can't hide.'"
"What? That's creepy," Lilly said, concern etching her features. "Do you think it's someone from your past?"
"I don't know," Leaka replied, her heart racing. "But it feels threatening."
Lilly took a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. "We can deal with this together. You're not alone."
