"You Betrayed me and I I know that you'll never feel sorry."

- Traitor, Olivia Rodrigo

Kira looked at herself in the mirror, smoothing out the smooth fabric of her black dress. Her hair  unruly brown hair was blown out, framing her face. She didn't even recognize herself, and she didn't even know if Nick would. Her normal clothes consisted of  tank top, baggy shirts, shorts, sweatpants, and jeans. She didn't wear things like this.

Kira heard a knock at the door, perfectly imperfect and terribly spaced. Mom. "Come in!" Kira said, turning towards the door. Her mother entered, smiling at her daughter, with every bit of love she'd ever had for her.

"I got you a present," Laney beamed, holding up a purple present bag.

Kira smiled, putting her hands over her mother's. "Thanks, mom." Her mother smiled, putting the bag on the counter.

"I want to talk to you about something." She said, her voice full of heart, Kira nodded. "When I got pregnant with you I left my family, my little sister, my life. I've always thought you look like her. My parents wanted to raise you as their own, I couldn't let that happen. Plus I couldn't be as perfect as Ronnie."

Kira laughed, hearing the joke. "Okay, mom."
