Sean's P.O.V
Car horns honk all around me. I hate getting stuck in traffic. It's so boring, and it makes me late to get home. I know that Julio will understand, but I still don't like arriving latter than expected. All well, there's really nothing I can do about it.
=+=1 hour latter=+=
Finally! I get out of this jam and pull into my apartment complex's parking lot. I jog up the many flights of stairs and reach my door. I slip the key into the lock and the door slides open.
"Hey baby." Julio says walking over and kissing me. "I have a little surprise for you."
I eye him suspiciously, but let him lead me to the couch. "Okay, now sit here and close your eyes. Don't open them until I ask you to." He says to me. I nod my head and close my eyes. I'm not sure what he's doing, but I can hear loud noises coming from our bedroom. What could he possibly be doing in there? I hear him re-enter the living room.
"Don't open them." He demand again. I feel something small being set on my lap. "Now you can look." I open my eyes and look down in my lap to see the cutest pug that I have ever seen. It looks up at me and starts wagging it's tail. I've always wanted a dog. I wasn't sure if Julio knew that, but apparently he did.
"Do you like him?" Julio asks hopefully, showing a slight smile.
I smile broadly up at him. I pick up the puppy and pull us all into a group hug. "Of course I do." I say to him. "Well what's his name?"
"Well I was going to wait until we were together to pick a name." He replies. I nod and look at the puppy in my arms. He was small, but had huge eyes. He was really adorable.
"How about Pancakes?" Julio asks. I laugh at his random choice but agree immediately. The name suits him.
