In 119 AC, Rhaenyra gave birth to her girl, who she had always longed for and dreamed of.

When the girl turned three, she was sat on the carpet of her mother's chambers while her mother sat by the fire, watching her with a soft smile. The problem arose when her daughter spoke to someone, causing the princess to look around the room, where she saw no one.

She had asked the Maesters, and they had told her it was nothing to worry over and that she was only a young child with a vivid imagination. That changed in 124 AC when Visenya finally told her mother, who she spoke to and saw.

It was her ancestors, or more like the ghosts of the red keep. The worry began when she mentioned one name: the ghost she saw when she was in the cradle and one that followed her. It was the man many called Maegor the cruel.

Rhaenyra took action and protected her daughter; she encouraged her daughter to speak with her ancestors, which would help her in court.

Though she made certain no one except Laenor and the boys knew, Jace had to keep Luke from mentioning it during any family event. He had almost slipped, but Rhaenyra gave him a look, and he was quick to quiet down.
