"WHO'S READY TO GET DRUNK!"

sophia sat the club bar, her eyes wide as talia placed down shots for everyone. sophia wasn't really interested in getting drunk. when she got drunk, harry would take care of her after because he was the pro at hangovers. the music and lights were blinding her, and she simply just wanted to curl up in a ball and die. freya was next to her, drinking already as she texted josh what they were doing.

faith sat down on the other side of sophia, wrapping her arm around the girl. faith was her closest friend since ethan always hung out with harry, forcing the girls to be together 24/7. everyone got their shots, all of them drinking it quickly. sophia would usually clink her glass with harry's before they took a shot, but he wasn't around anymore.

the girls began to talk, drinking more as they did so. sophia didn't realize when she started to get drunk until she was on the dance floor. talia held her hand as they danced through the crowd, jumping to the music and singing loudly. the lights flashed around them as more people joined the crowd. "see, you don't need him!" talia yelled over the music, spinning sophia around.

sophia flashed a genuine smile, talia was right. she didn't need harry. it's been a month, sophia needed to move on. the brunette looked around for anyone she could flirt with, her heart stinging a bit. she couldn't do that to harry, she just couldn't. she couldn't get with someone so quickly after they broke up.

"sophia!" faith yelled, running towards her. she had her phone in her hand, making sophia quickly look at her. "you might wanna see this."

sophia looked down at faith's phone, her heart immediately dropping.

sophia felt her heart break into a million pieces. she was furious. how could he do this to her? they just saw each other hours ago. he wanted to talk it out. he wanted to be with her! sophia immediately looked up at faith, her face emotionless. "we can leave-"

"no."

the brunette walked towards the bar where mia and freya sat, their eyes wide. sophia ignored them as she ordered herself four shots. she needed to forget all about this. the bartender watched as sophia took the shots, looking emotionless. "i need something stronger." sophia yelled at him over the music, "something that will help me forget everything."

"soph, are you sure?" mia asked, "this isn't okay!"

sophia ignored her as she pulled out her phone, unblocking harry's number.

THE NIGHT CONTINUED ON, sophia was sitting outside. her eyes looked up at the moon as tears flooded them. she didn't even realize when someone sat next to her, a lighter in their hand as they lit up their cigarette. she glanced over at him, "want one?" he asked, looking at her with a small frown, "looks like you've had a rough night."
