Cato's P.O.V.
"What did you just call me?" I ask the small, fragile looking girl. Fuckboy? I am not a fuckboy. She doesn't even know me! As if getting a boost of confidence, she grins and raises her small chin dominantly.
"You heard me." She retorts. Glimmer is tugging on my arm constantly, trying to steal my attention. But I'm not done with this Midget yet.

Flashback 1 Year Prior
"Give it to me." I snarl. A boy with brown dusty looking hair with lots of freckles stands in front of me. His hands are loosely slung into his faded and ripped up pants pockets. By the looks of him I get the impression he's one of the poorer people in 2. He's about a year older than me. But I'm bigger. I could beat him up so badly.
"I said give it to me." I growl, firmly holding onto my little sister, Lilly's arm. Her long blonde hair is pulled up into two pony tails ontop her small head. At only the age of five, she struggles with asthma. My mother cares nothing of it, she's to busy sleeping with different men and getting drunk.
"I'll give you the inhaler if you give me something in return." The boy bribes. "I'm not giving you anything. You stole that inhaler." I say. His eyebrows furry and his jaw hangs a bit open. "How do you know I stole it?" He asks and gets in such a position that lets me know if I say the wrong thing, he'd run. "You obviously don't need an inhaler. Your covered in dust and you're to poor to afford any medications."
He turns his head slightly and raises his eyebrows. "You can obviously afford medications. Your in one of the richest houses in town. Why are you needing this inhaler? Why not buy your own?" He asks.
"First off, it's not for me. It's for my little sister. Second, my mother is to careless to put in an order for any medications. I can't forge her signature." I insist when suddenly a girl darts out from behind a building, a loaf of bread in her hands. She's small and bone thin. Her pants are dirty and her long brown hair is loosely pulled back into a ponytail. Her face is round and her eyes are dull, but they sparkle like nothing else I've seen. "Tommy, let's go." She grabs the boys arm and cuts a brief glance at me that soon becomes a worried stare. "Why are you talking to him?" She whispers. Siblings I'm guessing. I can see the resemblance. "He wants the inhaler." He whispers back. Then it's as if those four words ignited a spark inside of her. She snaps her head to me and scowls. "No! We need to sell that! Pay us first!" She demands. Lilly jumps at her raised voice and cowards behind me shyly. If only this girl understood! I take a deep breath and lower my voice to a whisper. Maybe if I'm quiet she'll quiet down and won't attract so much attention from the people in the street. I bend down so I'm at her level and stare into her cold, dark, glassy brown eyes.
"Give. me. the. inhaler." I order.
Being quiet didn't work.
"No!" She shouts in my face. Suddenly a sharp inhale comes from Lilly. Her tiny fingers tighten around my arm and she begins wheezing. "Give it to me!" I scream and shove the boy back. Both the boy and the girl share a look before their eyes fall on Lilly. Anger is bubbling at my surface, ready to explode. I bawl my hands into fists and clench my teeth tightly. The small girl's face softens, but her cold scowl still remains. She turns away for a moment, speaking with the boy. What are they doing? After a moment of debating, they both turn to me and the boy pulls out the inhaler from his pocket. "You know what? Just take it Rich Boy." He tosses the inhaler up and I quickly catch it, handing it to Lilly. "C'mon, Clove." The boy turns and starts jogging, but the girl stays. Her eyes skim over mine, sending a cold harsh shiver through me. And then like that, she was gone.

"Don't pretend like you know me, Clover. You know nothing about me." I soon glare at the girl. Her small shoulder's tense up and she crosses her arms. "And you know nothing about me, Cato." She doesn't sound as nervous anymore. She seems relaxed, like she has nothing to prove.
"Cato, I want to dance." Glimmer whines and starts pulling me away. Yet, my eyes don't leave Clove. Her small figure is the only thing that seems to be in focus amongst the crowd of blurry faces.
Wow, she is beautiful.
