Kagome your...your..a.

Kagome POV
After we said goodnight to eachother, I go to my room, and lay on my bed, I stare at the ring, its says our names on it, I can't believe he proposed to me, ugh I love that puppy eared man, I roll onto my side and close my eyes, happy birthday to me,

Inuyasha POV
It's about 9 in the morning, and I get up to make breakfast, if I was grinning ear to ear, I couldn't tell, I get some forewood form outside and start to cook some fish, after a few minutes Kagome and Anzu walk into the room
"Where's Shippo"? Asks Anzu,
" in my room still" I say pointing over my shoulder(with his thumb) she smiles evily and walks in to my room, I count off in my head 3...2...1... "AHHH" screams Shippo, me and Kagome start laughing, and he comes out with a huge blush across his face,
"Wha....what'd she do" I laugh,
"None of your business, Inuyasha" he grumbles she smiles and kisses his cheek, wich spreads the blush more, we smile and sit down to eat. The cute little couple talked in hushed wispers, me and Kagome give each other glances, but don't talk, well until Shippo asks,
"Kagome what's that ring in your finger"? He asks, with a puzzled look on his face,
" its a.....um...ring....from...*she looks at me and I shake my head no* my mom yeah she gave it to me last time i saw her" she smiles, he nods satisfied with the answer, I let out a sigh of relief, I don't want to tell anyone about the engagement, I want to wait a while, we continue to eat in silence, giving eachother a smile or a wink, whenever we look up. It's about 12:30 and me and Kagome go to the river so she can bathe, I stand facing away from her keeping gaurd, its not like there's anything new to see,(oh Inuyasha -_-) but the truth is, is that we had to get Kagome away from the house so Miroku and Sango and their kids could set up the decorations, I am so happy. Although I think Kagome misses her old time, where her mom and brother and gramps are, its would be great if she could visit them, but sadly no, maybe one day, I hear Kagome scream, I wip around about ready to draw my sword, but I don't see anything,
"Kagome, you alright" I yell out,
"Y...yeah....sorry a monkey scared me" she laughs embarrassed, I laugh a little and she gets back in the water, and finishes her bath. it's about 12:50 and we are heading back to the hut, but I notice something change in the atmosphere, as if a deamon is near, I growl and push Kagome behind me,
"What is it Inuyasha" Kagome asks, holding my shoulder, after a few minutes its gone, I brush it off,
"Nothing thought I sensed a deamon" I say hugging her, we walk back to the hut hand in hand, and when we get there its about 12:57, I take Kagome by the waist and pull her in the door,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAGOME" every one screams, which hurts my ears, she gives a little jump and then laughs we all laugh, and sit around the small fire, Sango hands Kagome a small cake with candles on it,
"Make a wish Kagome" says Sango, she nods and blows out the candels, I sense that demonic arua again, but it feels like its right next to me, I turn to Kagome and see something I never expected, cute little dog ears!
