A team of about 200 people, armed with weapons, entered the forest in an orderly manner, while a team of more than ten people stayed in place and controlled a drone above the forest to guide the team.

I followed Carl and entered the forest together. The trees were very dense, the weeds were overgrown, and there were many mushrooms. After walking inside for a while, I couldn't tell the direction.

There are some traces of weeds being trampled on the ground, and it seems that many people have walked by, forming several blurry paths.

Although there is a road, the vegetation is too lush, and the soldiers can only support the trees and stride forward step by step, struggling to move forward.

I couldn't walk this way at all. Carl put me in his backpack and took me for over two hours before gradually finding a wider path. Further ahead, there is a small square made of scattered stones. There is a small waterfall ahead, and beside it are piles of rocks of different sizes, with moss covering the cliffs.

Carl's Report

"Captain, something is interfering with our signal. We have lost contact with the camp"

Alpha asked

"What about drones and navigation"

Karl answered

"I can't receive it either, the interference here is too strong"

"There's something strange here."

Alpha said a sentence and ordered two team members to inspect the moss covered stones. After a while, the two team members reported that no abnormalities were found.

For safety reasons, a few team members were ordered to burn the stones. Three soldiers used flamethrowers and smaller flames to shoot at the stones, burning moss and emitting a large amount of black smoke. Other than that, there was no movement.

Alpha ordered to continue moving forward, and the ground moved slightly. Suddenly, a one meter thick, large gray earthworm emerged from below. Its fleshy head slipped backwards, and a huge mouth opened to swallow a soldier holding a flamethrower. Then, its head quickly closed, and its lower body wrapped around another soldier, pulling them underground and disappearing in an instant.

The sudden thing startled everyone, and they hadn't reacted yet. A pangolin about two meters long emerged from under the stone, biting down on another soldier holding a flamethrower, and turned around the stone to escape.

The team quickly fired in the direction of the pangolin's escape, only to hear the captured teammate howl twice before disappearing.

Alpha looked at the big earthworm and the hole dug by the pangolin, and I saw something on the stone wall.

"There's something on the wall, move away quickly,"

they couldn't understand what I was saying, but Carl noticed.

"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah, Captain"

Carl's sudden reaction startled the captain. The sudden excitement for a moment made Carl unable to speak clearly, and he pointed behind Alpha and shouted

"Back, back, captain behind you"

Alpha turned his head and almost scared him to death. A huge spider, over a meter wide, was lying on a burnt moss stone, with a stone like gray white body and a blackened head that was not difficult to detect. It was only about one meter away from Alpha.

Alpha screamed and stood up, and the big spider spat out a mouthful of white pus on Alpha's back. The pus instantly turned into spider silk and stuck Alpha to the ground.

The big spider crawled towards Alpha, treating it as prey. Kane saw the situation and ordered to shoot. More than ten guns were fired at the spider, smashing it to pieces.

The spider's spider silk is very hard, and neither of them can pull it apart. I had to take off the captain's clothes before pulling him out.
