Since Dylan didn't want me to harm myself again he put the cookies in the oven so I sigh and went to the living room and slumped on the couch in defeat, I look at the bandaid on my finger covering the cut.. when.. I felt something painful on my leg, I look over and see a black void with flashing white eyes grabbing my leg.. nails digging into my skin as I whimper from the intense pain.. I tried pulling my leg away but it only got the its nails in my skin causing cuts "UGH-!" I grunt in pain and started sobbing due to the horrifying sensation, goosebumps rode through my body as I tremble and shiver in fear *BANNGGH!!!* I yelp startled and the void was on the ground groaning, I look next to me Dylan with a pan and he looked pale
"What the f#&k! Is that!!??"
"I told u I'm not delusional.!"
"LOV- I MEAN SH!T MADDIE R U OK?!"
"Y-yeah"
Later on we went upstairs I was clinging onto him in bed together as he wrapped his arms around me in comfort just in case..
"Woods.. woods... help me.. I'm in the woods.."
Whispers repeated over and over as I huff in frustration
Then I sat up
"I need to find her."
I say and Dylan looked at me confused
"What?"
"I keep getting whispers. What if a girl is trapped?"
"Maddie ur hallu-"
"Stop gaslighting me Dylan and get ur head in f&#cking reality!!"
"What- the only person here who isn't in reality is clearly you!!"
That hurt like stabs in my heart. What if I'm actually going insane?
"Maddie this isn't a game! Stop playing with me!"
"Do u trust me.?"
I say in agony as he paused
"..yes I do.."
"Then please just.. let us go. I need to stop the whispers and the frustration of seeing stuff.."
He paused staring at me like I was crazy
"DYLAN PLEASE JUST TRUST ME."
"Maddie u need help.."
"I don't! But the girl does."
"There is no g-"
"FINE! IM GOING ALONE!"
"What?! MADDIE YOURE GOING TO GET KIDNAPPED."
"I DONT F#$KING CAREE!"
"Madelyn."
I paused..
"Sh!t.. f-Fine I'll come along."
I smile and we started getting ready we got backpacks and Put in the supplies we need like flashlights snacks med kit a knife a rope?
"A rope? What do-"
"Just believe me, we might need it"
Wipes sanitizer water bottles and we were set to go
We went to the back of his house, I look at the fence then a few steps back ran towards the fence then hopped grabbing the fence pushing me upwards to not hit my leg, I landed but rolled onto the ground..
Dylan tried the same but ended up falling on top of me, we both yell and and I look at him.. he was on top of me.. I felt my chest flutter and my face flushed red so did his..
"Oh- uhh.." he got off me and now it was awkward.. ahem

Anyway, we went through the woods and check around the place when suddenly Dylan was no where to be found.. "Dylan?..dylan!" Where could he be.
I kept looking around.. now I was worried
I grab my flashlight and shined it across.. Dylan..
No..no. He was dangling.. lifeless..why.. no? This can't be happening I'm delusional! IM INSANE THIS CANT BE HAPPENING.
No no no..Dylan please. Dylan.. I lost hope. I'm completely insane.
"Dylan.?"
(Dylan's pov)
'Where's Maddie?' I thought in my head as I look for Maddie I can't seem to find her anyway. Is she alright??? Oh! There she is! "Madelyn! Maddie!" I call her out but I felt pressure everytime I got closer *thud!* ?! What is this barrier? I thought as I tried but it's like an invisible wall.. I punched the imaginary wall and it glowed everytime I hit it, I kept punching it and punching it! "MADELYN!" I exclaim but she wasn't answering, she was staring at the branch when suddenly she grabs the knife in the bag and puts it up her neck, I panicked goosebumps and terrifying shivers went up my spine, I got mad and grabbed the knife I had stabbing the barrier, it broke and I ran to her grabbing the knife from her, she snapped back and looked at me with teary eyes.
"Madelyn."
She looked at me and started sobbing "Dylan I thought you died!"
"I was only lost for a few minu-"
"YOU WERE HANGING OFF A TREE!"
oh..OH.. WHAT?!
"What?!. What do u mean!"
She suddenly hugs me and feels my face
"What- are you doing?"
"Ur real."
"Yes I'm real."
She hugs me and started crying her eyes out
"THE LAST THING I WANT TO HAPPEN IS YOU LEAVING."
my heart ached and I hug her back tighter
We pulled away and I held her face in my hands caressing her face
As we made eye contact.. I felt a flutter in my chest.. her beautiful brown eyes.. I leaned closer and we both kissed. Her eyes were widened but then she closed her eyes as tears spilled from her eyes and I held her waist and deepened the kiss..

(Madelyn's pov)
He kissed me! My crush kissed me! I'm melting right now..I thought he thinks of me as a friend..it just feels so good.. he broke the kiss and I looked at him shocked.. "y..you"
"Oh?! I'm sorry I-"
Before he even spoke I cover his mouth..
'Chitter chitter..'
A horrifying sound came upon
I look up to see a weird.. thin..skin to bone. White ski walker.. I paused and covered my mouth and breathed quietly
Suddenly. I felt a piercing feeling.. i look down the skinwalker grabbed me tightly and aggressively, its sharp claws digging in my stomach
"Ack-.."
Blood trickled and Dylan's eyes widen
"D-Dylan."
He looked at me shocked and worried scared angry terrified somber.. then suddenly blood splattered out
"MADELYN" he screamed and grabbed a knife stabbing the skinwalker
The skinwalker shrieked and threw me against a tree, it then hit Dylan hard causing him to fly, I sat up coughing blood as I clutch on my wounds, I groan and sob in intense pain.. *cough cough*
