Red ran around the house, light on his feet. His blue eyes darted from side to side, predatory and dangerous. He opened doors, closets, and cupboards as he went by, searching for something or someone. Eventually, he had all the house cleared but one wing; his bedroom. He snuck into his room and yanked open the closet.
"Found you!
He flinched in shock as Ash -who had probably been leaning on the door- fell down as he opened the closet, smacking into Red's chest before ungraciously tumbling to the ground with a chorus of less-than-pg words. Red stared in shock for a second before bursting into laughter, soon joined by Ash's groaning.
"Reddd" Ash whined and shoved him over from his spot in the ground. "You're mean."
Red fell back on the bed behind him, laughing.
"Well, You found me. Good job." Ash said, through the thick layer of sarcasm. Red smirked at him, sitting up from the bed. "Now you owe me a prize for winning."
Ash snorted. "What do you want? A pat on the head a 'congratulations you found me after checking the whole house?' "
The other stood up and opened his arms for a hug, smiling ear-to-ear. Ash groaned and stands up as well, hesitantly accepting the hug. Behind Red's back, Ash smiles, closing his eyes to enjoy the other's warm embrace.
