A Human and the Prime

"We cannot allow Megatron to send Dark energon through his space bridge." Optimus began as everyone listen to him. Veda was now on the human platform with Miko and Raf, as she was relief that they are okay but notice that Jack wasnt here. Which Raf explained everything to her while she was unconscious.

"If we fail. . .the dead of cybertron will rise and swarm through its vortex and invade earth." Optimus frown as he look at Veda then back to the autobots." Bending human kid to Megatron's twisted rule." Optimus said with a frown making Veda frown as well. 'D. . . . .you have gone too far.' she thought as close her eyes and sigh.

Jack bike his way to K.O's burger parking it before looking up for a second. He sigh before flinching when he heard an engine reeve behind him." Nice bike." He heard Arcee voice making him turn around to see her in her alt mode." Arcee. . .Really? Miko already tried." Jack told her with a sigh." Tell optimus that I respect him big time. . .But. . . If you're at war with the decepticons. . .there's nothing i can do to help." Jack look away as Arcee drove forward.

"Optimus didnt send me." Arcee spoke making Jack look at her with confusion on his face."  And no one's asking for your help." Arcee added making Jack sigh. "Okay, so if we bot agree that im not a warrior material. . . " Jack trailed off as he look away." Jack. . .I just lost someone i cared about. . ." Arcee began as her voice go soft. " Maybe it's the grief talking, maybe you're growing on me." Arcee paused as Jack look at her. " Whatever it is. . . .i'm just not ready to say good-bye." Jack stared at her for a seconds as he gave a thoughtful look.

Veda was sitting on Optimus' shoulder plate as the loud beep came through the monitors that the scanners have caught something. " Optimus." Ratchet began." I've pinpointed the location of Megatron's space bridge." Ratchet began typing on the holo keypad." High in the earth's orbit." 

"Its out of our reach." Elita said with a frown on her faceplate as Optimus narrowed his optics at the screen with a frown on his faceplate." Okay. . .so you guys dont fly. . . but can you just. . groundbridge there??" Miko suggested making everyone look down at her." She does have a point." Veda agree softly making Ratchet frown." The groundbridge has limited range. " Ratchet began." Stretch all the way into the orbit it's vortex could snap." Ratchet demonstrate what he was trying to say." And scatter us to the stars." Miko stared at him with shock expression on her face.

Veda frown before looking at Optimus, who look back at her then back to ratchet." Since Megatron is likely already in transit. . .  I am afriad we must take that risk." Optimus began making Veda look worried as she place her hand against his faceplate, making him softly look at her and gave her a small smile of reassurance. "Reaching the space bridge first. . .is our means of stopping him." 

Veda perk up when she heard engine noise making her smile as she saw Arcee is back with Jack." Hey. . .guess who's back??" Jack said while smiling as he took off his helmet. " Autobots. . . .prepare for departure." Optimus began as he offer his servo for Veda to hop on, which she did as he gently place her back to human platform." where to??" Arcee asked as she transformed into her bipedal mode." The final frontier." Elita answered her with a grin making Arcee grin back.

"space?? i thought they didnt have any way to get there." Jack asked in confusion." They dont." Veda spoke while smiling softly." Really." Raf nodded as he agree with Veda. " Be careful bee." Raf said to his guardian as Bumblebee give a reassuring beep and whirl as he began walking away." I am so jealous!" Miko whine making Bulkhead look down at her and frown. "Dont even think about following me." He told her before walking forward.
