At the artic,

Bulkhead, who was holding a tracking device in his servo as behind him is bumblebee, who let out a whirl and beep as he look around asking if they are there yet. " No, we're not there yet. . .but it should be just past this ridge bumblebee." Bulkhead answered as he point ahead of him making both of them headed forward, got close to the edge before sliding down. 

Before both of them landed. They look around making Bulkhead frown in confusion. " I dont get it." He said as he look at his tracker. " these readings are off the meter." bulkhead point out as he shook the tracker device. Then bumblebee sees something, letting out a buzz and beep, trying to gain Bulkhead's attention, which he did as he looks at where Bumblebee is looking.

The two of them headed to the frozen lake that had something what they are tracking down.

Back at the base,

"I told you doc. We're fine." Bulkhead said as he tug away the device that keep him and bumblebee not to get frozen or cold which Ratchet step forward as he pushed Bulkhead back down." They only way to be certain that you're fine bulkhead is to endure standard defrosting procedure." Ratchet pointed out with a frown before look at their vitals and systems chart.

"You know prolong exposure to sub-Zero conditions can cause permanent system damage." Ratchet pointed out before Optimus' voice spoke up." Ratchet, have you learned anything more about our arctic find??" He asked making Ratchet look at him." Not yet." Ratchet answered before looking at the security camera that shows the large ice that Bulkhead and Bumblebee brought from the arctic device that was now melting.

"The pod can't be opened while its frozen solid." Ratchet pointed out making Optimus nodded at him.

Meanwhile, with the pod that was now melting, something like punching out of the pod or like its eating inside before a small crack appeared then a tiny claw poked out.

Next day,

Elita picked up Veda early before arriving at the base. Veda hop off and took off her helmet before letting out a yawn." Good morning." she muttered softly as Ratchet just grunt while Optimus, who was standing beside him, smile softly to her before heading to her and kneel. "Good morning my spark." he greeted her softly making Veda smile and hop on his servo that he offer to her as he gently place her on the human platforms.

"so. . . .what's the catch??" Veda asked curiously as she watch ratchet scan Optimus and Arcee. "We're going to arctic Veda. Checking to know why the pod that Bulkhead and Bumblebee found at the artic." Arcee answered her making Veda nodded. "Ok. . .got it." she said with a smile although worried. Because she knows that Cybertronians are not immune to extreme cold.

Then she watch Ratchet began putting on the coordinates then open the ground bridge. " Arcee and I will search for any clue which might explain the origin of our arctic find." Optimus began as Ratchet look through the device he was holding. " only until your sensors sound." Ratchet pointed out as he pressing something before looking at the two. " Remember, once your core temperature drops into the blue zone." Ratchet began as he point the device towards to Optimus' autobot logo, that blinks blue then ratchet point the device to arcee's logo that did the same.

"aren't likely, they're imminent." Ratchet finished before all of them heard engine noise making them look to see Bulkhead and bumblebee are back with the kids." Miss us doc bot??" Miko taunted while smiling as she hop out of bulkhead's alt mode. Veda chuckle when Ratchet groan in annoyance. " Shouldn't they be in school??" he asked making Veda chuckle more before answering him." it's saturday ratchet. They have a weekend off from school." she said while smiling.
