Chapter 3

As I went in, the first thing I noticed is that the school had a long hallway and it was very clean too. I didn't really know what to expect since this is my first school. Anyway, when I got there Monica said, " Let's go to the main office". I followed her and she knocked before going inside. " Good morning Mr. Winston, she told the principal. "Good morning Monica". I couldn't help but notice that there was another kid in there he had messy brown hair and greenish or I don't know what color his eyes were, because he had his head down and was doing something with his phone. " Hey". Monica said, I said is that okay? I woke up from the staring I was doing and focused on Monica. She handed me my schedule. " Here you go". Thanking her I got my schedule and looked at it, and I realized that I'll probably get lost. But, then Monica told " Don't worry we'll find somebody to help you". "Why can't you?" I asked Monica. "Because we don't have the same first class together" , she replied. " I'll take her". Said the kid that was sitting down, the principal nodding his head said "ok that's fine". I turned around and got a good look of his face he had green eyes, messy brown hair, and a really attractive face. I could see his muscles and toned chest through his jacket. " Ok,bye Faith see you at lunch". Monica said. I waved and headed out the door with the boy behind me. We got out in the hallway and it was really quiet so maybe the others are already inside. Great, I thought. First day and I'm already late. We walked in awkward silence it seemed like hours when we got to my class. So I decided to introduce myself. " Hi I'm Faith". " Nice to meet you". He said, " And I'm Ryder".
