I Don't Want To Go Through It Again

I woke up to Michelle singing in the shower.

Es que yo sin ti
Y tú sin mi
Dime quien puede ser feliz
Eso no me gusta
Esto no me gustaaa

I rolled my eyes. I opened my suitcase and chose my outfit. I chose a white floral crop top and black shorts.

I laced up my white high top converse and went to the sink to put on makeup. I was putting on light pink lipstick when Michelle walked out of the bathroom.

"Good morning Michelle," I said. "I heard you singing. Thanks for waking me up by the way."

Michelle laughed. "Be thankful that's how you woke up. If you were still asleep when I came out I would've scared you and posted it on Instagram." She gave me a devious smile.

I threw an empty water bottle which successfully hit her in the face. She clutched her face in an over dramatic way and cried out. "BEEELEEEN" She walked up to me and I didn't even try to run away. She hit me on the back of the head and I laughed and pushed her away.

"Hurry up and get ready." I told Michelle.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because we're gonna go explore the city."

"Ooh yay!" Michelle yelled. She got the hairdryer that was plugged into the wall and started drying her hair. I put on some mascara and then put my makeup bag away. I didn't feel like putting anything else on.

I went to my bed and clicked on the TV. Michelle started singing again so I turned the volume up more. I flipped through the channels and couldn't find anything to watch until I ended up on Univision Deportes. There was a reporter standing in front of our hotel talking about the stats and information of the upcoming match against Cuba. It looked like our chances were pretty good considering we've never lost to Cuba before.

"Y ahorra vamos al entrenamiento para una entrevista con el capítan de la defensa, Hector Moreno." The man on the TV said.

I instantly sat up. I put the volume up a bit more so I could hear clearly what they were saying.

I'm just gonna have it all in English cuz I don't feel like translating.

Reporter: So how do you feel the team has been doing in the back?

Hector: We've definitely been improving. Diego is doing great and Maza and Miguel are showing amazing progress as well. Since we all have a great relationship outside of the pitch it makes it easier for us to fix our problems in the pitch.

Reporter: You said your relationship off the pitch is good, can you describe what it's like?

Hector: Oh they're all amazing people. We are one big family always having fun. But we also do know when we have to be serious so we can progress. But sometimes that is hard with people like Paul and Diego who always dance and joke around. *he laughs*

I blush when he laughs. I look at Michelle to make sure she didn't see but she's too busy putting makeup on. She's stopped singing so she could concentrate on her eyeliner. I laugh at her and turn back to the TV.

Reporter: So how do you think you guys are gonna do your first game in this tournament? Against Cuba?

Hector: I think our chances are good. We know not to underestimate any team but in these last few practices we've really been progressing as a team so I'm confident.
