"It makes sense doesn't it?" Gwen said quietly.

"No way! It can't be!" Cody replied quietly.

"I'm telling you. Just think about it." Gwen told him just as quietly.

"What's going on?" Noah walked into the kitchen and looked at them.

They both stood up straight and looked at him.

"What are you two whispering about? There's customers waiting out here!" Noah told them.

"Oh, yeah..." Gwen realized, quickly putting a few pastries in a box and passing them to Noah.

Meanwhile Cody went back to adding the frosting onto the cake.

Noah gave them a questioning look as he took the box and left.

"We shouldn't get distracted." Gwen said, going to help Cody.

"But if it's true..." Cody started.

"Well, it explains what he said to you on the ferris wheel." Gwen reminded him.

Cody looked down a bit.

"This is a good thing, Cody. You just need to show him what a good relationship is like." Gwen encouraged.

"We don't know that for sure though!" Cody said.

"Well whether they dated or not isn't clear but Noah definitely liked him at some point. That much is obvious." Gwen said.

"But if he just liked him, why would he hate his guts now?"

"Maybe he got rejected."

"That's really an overreaction, don't you think?" Cody said.

"See? It makes more sense that they dated and Justin wronged him somehow." Gwen insisted. "You're just afraid of accepting it."

"Obviously, I don't want to accept it... but couldn't Justin have wronged him without dating him?" Cody thought.

"I don't know. It seemed personal, don't you think?"

Cody sighed. "But if all that is true... does he just... not believe in love anymore?"

"That's what I think."

"Or could he just still be hung up on him?" Cody wondered.

"That's also a possibility."

"What could I possibly do to change his mind?"

"You need to be romantic. Make him believe again." Gwen suggested.

"I don't know how to do that? Like- get him roses or something? That'd be weird..."

"Romance is different for everyone. You don't have to follow the standard. Do what feels right." She shrugged.

"I don't even know where to start."

"Try getting him a meaningful gift. Something that he'd like for sure!"

"A meaningful gift..?" Cody repeated in thought.

"I'm sorry, we're all out." Noah said to a customer.

"Can't you make some more?"

"We can't."

"Why can't you?"

"We're out." Noah repeated.

Cody walked out of the kitchen and stopped when he saw what was happening.

"I understand that you're out, but I know you can just go into your kitchen and make some more."

"I don't think you understand." Noah told her.
