A/N: This is kind of a disclaimer. They talk about a few classical books later and I need to say that I've never read any of the books mentioned in case I say something wrong or if it seems awkward that's why.

Gwen was sitting on the counter, scrolling on her phone when Cody walked in with a huge smile on his face.

"Don't tell me... you two kissed?"

"No." Cody rolled his eyes. "But we're hanging out together tomorrow... I'm so excited..."

Gwen gave him a small smile. "I don't know what you're doing, but good job. I didn't think Noah had a beating heart, honestly."

"Stop making fun of him. He's... perfect." Cody smiled.

Gwen rolled her eyes playfully. "I think I'm gonna barf."

"Oh, shut up... what about you and Courtney?"

"Shh! She's in the office..." Gwen told him quietly.

"Oh." Cody covered his mouth. "She usually comes later."

"Well we took the bus together this morning so I could show her what to do."

"Oh." Cody walked closer. "And what was that like..?"

Gwen blushed a bit. "She..." Gwen started before turning her head to make sure the office door was closed. "She was still tired and rested her head on my shoulder." Gwen said quietly. "I was gonna melt..."

"That's so cute... I wanna do that."

"If you two keep walking home together, you should try holding his hand." Gwen suggested.

"What? No! He would hate that.... that's too soon..." Cody shook his head.

Suddenly Noah walked in.

"Noah!" Cody called out happily.

Noah gave Cody a small smile. "Good morning." He said before going to the back.

Cody and Gwen both stared in disbelief except Cody had some blush.

"What have you done to him..?" Gwen joked.

"This is the best day of my life..." Cody said dramatically.

Gwen laughed a bit.

"Oh, I better go change." Cody said before rushing to the back.

He walked in and closed the door.

Noah eyed him as he put his sweater and other sun protecting gear away.

Cody smiled and walked to his own locker.

"Don't worry, I won't look." Cody said, taking glances.

Noah smiled and rolled his eyes playfully.

Cody focused on getting changed, not looking at Noah once.

When he was finally done, he kept his eyes on the floor. "Are you done?"

"Yeah, you can look."

Cody turned and saw Noah just as he finished putting the shirt on, catching a glimpse of his almost non-existent stomach.

He blushed.

Noah noticed. "Was that too much for you?"

"Oh, no... it was fine..." Cody said awkwardly.

Noah laughed a bit as he walked over to mess with Cody's hair. "You're so weird."

Cody looked at him without saying anything.
