Aspen stormed into the bar with Maya close behind, her anger simmering under every step she took. The music hit her like a wave, pulsing through her as she scanned the room, her eyes finally landing on Rowyn and that fake country boy, laughing together in a dimly lit booth. Aspen's jaw clenched, and she turned sharply, pulling Maya by the wrist toward the dance floor.

Without a word, Aspen wrapped her arms around Maya, pressing close in a way that made Maya's heart skip a beat. Aspen's touch was firm, her fingers tracing along Maya's hips, and she moved in sync with the beat, her gaze never fully leaving Rowyn's direction. Every so often, she'd take daring glances over her shoulder, catching Rowyn's eye, her expression full of challenge and that signature mischievous smirk.

"You're enjoyin' this, aren't you?" Aspen whispered to Maya, her voice dripping with Southern charm, her breath warm against Maya's cheek.

Maya's cheeks flushed, but she leaned into it, letting Aspen's hands guide her, heart racing. "Maybe more than I should," Maya replied, trying to keep her voice steady, though the softness in her eyes told another story.

With every beat, Aspen's movements grew bolder, more purposeful. She threw one last look over to Rowyn, watching her shift uncomfortably, her gaze darting between Aspen and her date. Satisfied, Aspen's devilish grin grew, her eyes glinting as she kept Rowyn in her sights, letting her know she wasn't just going to fade into the background.

The energy of the bar wrapped around Aspen like a warm embrace as she pulled Maya closer, their bodies moving in time with the throbbing bass. Aspen's heart raced with a mix of adrenaline and anger, and the more she danced, the more determined she became to provoke Rowyn's jealousy.

"Look at me, I'm practically a one-woman show," Aspen teased, her Southern drawl thick and playful. She spun Maya around, holding her tightly and leading her into a wild, carefree twirl. "Just wait until Rowyn sees us. I'll make her wish she had taken a second look at me."

Maya laughed, a mix of confusion and exhilaration flashing in her eyes. "You're definitely something else, Aspen! Are you sure about this?" she asked, though she found herself enjoying the closeness, the thrill of the moment.

"C'mon, Maya! Live a little!" Aspen replied, her tone buoyant. "If Rowyn thinks she can just roll in here with Mr. Fake Cowboy and not notice what she's missing, she's got another thing comin'!"

With every twist of her hips and every exaggerated laugh, Aspen let loose, moving her hands from Maya's waist to her shoulders, making sure to lean in just enough to tease Rowyn from across the room. Aspen could see Rowyn's expression shift, a mix of confusion and intrigue as she caught sight of the two girls dancing closely. Aspen's heart soared.

"Just look at that face," Aspen smirked, tilting her head as she caught Maya's eyes. "She's watchin' us like we're the main event. Maybe I should give her a little more to look at, huh?"

Maya bit her lip, half-laughing and half-nervous. "You're gonna get us kicked out, you know that?"

"Not if I play my cards right," Aspen said, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "I mean, how can I make my move if I don't get her jealous, right?"

And with that, Aspen pushed herself against Maya, moving with a boldness that caught even herself by surprise. Maya's eyes widened, but she didn't pull away; instead, she leaned into the moment, their bodies swaying together, caught up in the excitement and Aspen's wild energy.

But as the night wore on and the drinks kept flowing, the weight of her feelings began to settle in. Aspen couldn't help but notice how much fun she was having with Maya, how their chemistry sparked in a way she hadn't expected. But the thought of Rowyn's face—the way she shifted uncomfortably, biting her lip—still drove Aspen to keep up the act.
