AUTHORS NOTE: HAPPY HALLOWEEN MY LOVES!!!

Today's my favourite holiday I'm so excited! what is everyone dressing up as?

Today's a short (Side) chapter since I have so much to do!

I'm sorry for not posting on schedule I'll do my best to get back on that!

Tomura's eyes narrow at the screen, his hands gripping the controller a little too tight. "You're cheating."

I smirk, tilting my head to hide my amusement. "You just suck at this."

"Do not," he mutters, furiously mashing buttons as his character dies for the fifth time. The familiar defeat jingle chimes, sealing his fate once more.

"That's what they all say." I stretch out, lounging back against the cushions as if this is just too easy. Watching him get frustrated might be the highlight of my week.

Tomura leans forward, gripping the controller like it's the only thing keeping him from exploding. His Superman charges in again, just for me to dodge Harley Quinn, landing a devastating combo.

"Goddammit!" He snarls, smashing the buttons harder as though brute force might help.

"How about I let you take a hit?" I ask, the grin on my face widening. I know exactly how he'll respond, but it's fun to dangle the offer anyway.

He turns, shooting me a sharp side-eye glare. "I don't need your pity."

"Suit yourself." I execute Harley's ultimate attack, watching with delight as she bazookas Superman clear off the screen. "KNOCKOUT!" flashes in bold, mocking letters.

Tomura drags a hand down his face with a low groan. "This game is broken."

"Nah, you're just trash," I tease, nudging him with my shoulder.

He tosses his controller onto the couch, arms folding as he sulks.

"One more match," he demands, voice tense. "You won't win this time."

"You said that the last five matches," I remind him, barely containing my laughter.

He glares at me, and I swear if looks could kill, I'd be six feet under by now.

"Okay," I say with a mischievous glint in my eye. "How about this, if I win again, you have to cut your hair."

Tomura's head jerks toward me, and I can see the slightest flicker of alarm in his expression.

"It's getting long," I add with a grin, ruffling his unruly hair just to mess with him.

"Quit it," he grumbles, nudging me off, but I catch the faintest ghost of a smile before it disappears behind his scowl.

His eyes narrow in suspicion, but I can see the gears turning. "Fine. But if I win, you're making dinner."

I snort. "You don't even eat real food."

"Not the point."

"Deal."

The match countdown begins, and Tomura rolls his shoulders like this is his last chance at redemption. I settled back into the couch, fully relaxed.

For a moment, I consider letting him win, just this once.
