Jungwon's POV
Right now, I’m sitting in the front of the van with Heeseung, while Riki, yn, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Seonwoo are all in the back. We're on our way to the hospital to see Angel, and I can’t shake off this feeling of hurt and sadness. Yn didn’t even let me hold Heaven before she was cremated, and that’s something that really stings. I know she’s going through a lot too, but it feels so unfair. Heaven was my biological daughter, and I wanted to be there for her.

Lost in my thoughts, it wasn’t long before we arrived at the hospital. Everyone climbed out of the van, and we followed yn inside. We walked past the front desk and took the elevator up to the third floor. Once we got off, yn led the way to the end of the hallway, stopping at the last room on the right. As we entered, I noticed a nurse already there.

“Hi, Mrs. Kim,” yn greeted her.

The nurse looked up and smiled warmly. “Hello, sweetheart.”

She glanced at the rest of us, then turned back to yn. “One of them is the father???”

Before yn could respond, Riki jumped in. “I’m his biological father, but all of us will take care of him.”

The nurse nodded, her smile reassuring. “He’s doing well today! But I’m sorry, only the mother and biological father can hold him right now.”

Understanding her words, the rest of us nodded in agreement as she left the room. We gathered around the incubator, and my heart ached as I looked at the little boy covered in tubes and wires, connected to various machines.

“He’s so small…” Heeseung whispered, breaking the silence.

Yn nodded, her voice tinged with emotion. “I had him when I was just 21 weeks along in my pregnancy…”

We all absorbed her words, and then she looked at Riki. “Come sit in this chair… I’ll give him to you…”

Without hesitation, Riki sat down, anticipation written across his face. Yn carefully picked Angel up and placed him gently in Riki’s arms. As he held the tiny boy, the love radiating from Riki was palpable. He spoke softly to Angel, his voice full of warmth.

“Hi, Bub… I’m your Dad… one of your dads. We’re all going to take care of you… We just want you to keep being our tiny fighter…”

Seeing Riki like this made me smile, despite the heaviness in my heart. In that moment, I realized that even amidst the pain, love still has a way of shining through...
