"I still can't believe you picked Remus' name over mine," Sirius said in feigned offense. He leaned over the backside of the couch looking at Lily Potter who was watching one of her twin boys play with his daughter, Aurora.

"Oh hush up, If I wanted my son to be a boy who grows up to be a vagrant and a womanizer, then I would have named him after you, Sirius." Lily shot him a sardonic smile. "I want him to grow up to be studious, responsible, and respectful."

"Sounds like you're setting him up to be a git to me," Sirius mumbled. He received a loud smack upside the head from the man standing beside him. "Ouch!"

Remus Lupin tried his best to suppress a grin as he brought his hand back down and looked back to the child in Lily's arms. "I had hoped you thought better of me than that, Sirius." Sirius grumbled some rather indecent words that made Remus laugh and caused Lily to cover her child's ears.

"This is what I mean," Lily sighed, "I've already doomed poor Harry to a life of mischief by naming him after his father.. I wanted to at least give one of them a chance." She smiled as Aurora poked her son's leg with a toy broomstick.

Sirius snorted loudly, "If you think he's safe because you named him after Remus, my dear little Rora will have him breaking every rule in school in no time."

He leapt over the couch, clearing Lily and startling her in the process. He knelt down and picked up Aurora and spun her around, her laughter filled the room. "Isn't that right my darling?" Aurora laughed some more.

"Not if I have any say in the matter," a voice called from behind. Sirius, Lily and Remus turned to see a strikingly beautiful woman with long blonde hair that fell far past her shoulders, her dark blue eyes boring holes into her husband. In her arms she held Harry who happily pulled on a strand of her golden locks. Reina Black shook her head as Sirius shielded their daughter from her.

"Don't worry Rora, I won't let these boring sods get you."

"Who're you calling a boring sod?" James Potter poked his head in from the kitchen. "It had better not be me!"

"Prongs, help me, the know-it-alls are trying to corrupt our children into becoming boring gits when they grow up!" Sirius called to his best mate.

James laughed and sauntered into the room slipping past Reina and leaning down to kiss his wife on the head. "Now we can't have that, can we?"

He looked down at his son who sat on the floor alone holding the toy broomstick that Aurora had been poking him with. He picked his son up and held him, he too pulled him protectively away from the other occupants of the room, going back to back with Sirius.

"We'll be raising the next generation of Marauders for sure, and you'll be the best of them, won't you, Alyx?"

His son giggled in his arms and tried to poke Aurora with the toy broomstick over James' shoulder. Remus rounded the couch and held his arms out to James who smiled and handed Alyx over to him. The child went over to him happily.

"Are you still sure you want me to be his Godfather?" Remus asked anxiously. "I mean, wouldn't it make more-"

"You stop that right now, Remus, " Lily said with finality. "Yes, we are absolutely sure.

"We want to make sure that they're taken care of if anything were to happen, and who else better than the three of you?" James looked between Sirius, Reina and Remus smiling all the while. "Besides we did name him Alyx Remus, so you seem to be bound with the responsibility, Uncle Moony.

Remus smiled down at the child in his arms, Alyx looked so happy. He had to dodge out of the way as Alyx tried to poke him in the face with the broomstick as well which caused him to giggle gleefully.
