Heather put her cat ears on and fluffed up her hair, making sure she looked perfect for tonight's party. It was the first Halloween where she wasn't going to trick or treat and instead was going to spend the night at Geoff's house because he was throwing another party.

She heard the familiar beep of Trent's horn and grabbed her purse to hurry and leave. She waved goodbye to Duncan who was in his room and dashed down the stairs. She got into the backseat with Courtney, Alejandro, Lightning.

"Let's sha-do this!" Lightning exclaimed and Trent pulled out of the driveway.

"What are you Court?" Heather asked, curious as to why her friend was wearing pigtails and a cheerleading uniform.

"Gwen and I are dressing up as Lollipop Chainsaw!" She said, "It was Gwen's idea but I love the main character!"

Heather nodded, facing forward and feeling a little weird for some reason. She couldn't identify the feeling but she remembered feeling the same way when her preschool crush gave their lollipop to her best friend.

In the front seat, Cody sat in the passenger's seat, staring sadly out of the window. Trent's hand was resting on his thigh and all he was thinking about was how much he wanted Trent to yank his hand away and stare at Cody in disgust. It would fit with whatever was happening in his brain.

The car arrived at Geoff's house and everyone piled out and ran inside. Courtney immediately found Gwen and they started taking pictures. Alejandro and Trent went over to their guy friends, including Mike this time, whose hair was slicked back. Cody went over to Noah and his friends and they started chatting about some game they were playing. Heather stood their awkwardly, not knowing what to do or where to go. Normally she felt so confident and knew exactly what to do but tonight she just felt off. She noticed Bridgette waving at her from over at the pool and headed her way.

"Hey Heather!" Bridgette said, "Nice cat costume!"

"Thanks," Heather replied, "I see you're that you're Ariel."

"Yep!"

"Hi Heather!" Zoey said, "Happy Halloween!

"Hey Zoey, what are you?"

"Oh, I'm Judy Hopps! I was matching with Mike but switched to Vito."

"Cute costume though." Heather said, sitting down and dipping her heeled feet into the pool. "What are you guys doing out here?"

"Geoff has been acting kind of weird lately so I'm letting him chill out with his friends before I talk to him about it." Bridgette said, looking a little sad about whatever was going on.

"And I'm just out here because I came with Mike and he's no longer here."

"Oh. Cool."

Alejandro had gone over to spend some time with his friends, he glanced over at Vito. He worse some green pants and fox ears, a green Hawaiian shirt lay by his feet. The two took part in the conversation for a while. The group talked about school, sports, home, whatever came to their minds. In a lull in the conversation, Al stared at his combat-booted feet, not knowing what to say. It was exhausting to always be the pretty one. He felt a tap on his shoulder and looked up to see Mike with his shirt back on and his hair smoothed over his eye. Mal. He tugged on Alejandro's arm, bringing him towards a closet under the stairs. 

"We'll be back guys, just getting some drinks."

No one payed them any attention.

Cody scampered over the corner where Noah and his friends were sitting. "Hey dude!" Owen said, when he saw the little costumed twink "Love the mummy costume!"

"Thanks Owen! I like your werewolf costume!"

"Thanks dude!"

The group talked for a bit more, Izzy and Eva talked about their neighbors, Owen talked about food, and Cody chimed in whenever he could with a smile on his face. He and Noah eventually get to talking about the game they were both playing (A Date With Death) they had both gotten the really sad ending and were planning a time to play the game together to get a better ending.

Time passed, Izzy and Eva headed home to give some trick or treaters some candy. Owen went to grab some food and the rest of their friends drifted away over time. It was just Noah and Cody at this point and they were having a chill time. Noah had pulled out a book and was doing some reading while Cody laid his head on his shoulder

Geoff and Brody collapsed on the couch with all their friends, Geoff's arm was around Brody's shoulder and he pulled his head towards him.

"What's on?" Trent asked, gesturing towards the projector.

"Oh I just got some horror stuff goin' like all that old stuff." said Geoff

"Nice, get to see some tits." Duncan said, he and Harold had waited a bit before coming over but they were here now.

"Worst part about dating a guy, you don't get to see anything." Trent agreed

"Hey man, that's not the only reason to be dating someone." Geoff said, turning around and removing his hand from around Brody's shoulders. Brody sat there a little awkwardly, not knowing what to do now.

"True, but it still sucks." Trent said, hopping onto the couch.

The boys sat there for the next few hours, just watching horror movies. A few of them drifted off until it was just Trent, Cody, Geoff, and Brody. Cody was laying in Trent's lap, his eyes tightly shut. Geoff and Brody sat next to each other, Geoff's arms outstretched on the back of the couch. As if of its own accord, his right arm went around Brody's torso. But not in a weird way, they would still be classified as homies. Geoffs arm and hand drifted lower, to around Brody's waist. His hand relaxed and it felt nice for a few moments.

He then immediately jumped up, "Uhhhhh, sorry. I gotta go grab some water." Geoff said. He accidentally kicked over his nearly empty red Solo cup of beer and ran to the kitchen. He grabbed a glass from the cupboard, filled it with water and downed it in an instant. He gripped the edge of the counter and breathed heavily.

"Hey man." Trent said, tapping on his shoulder. We're all gonna head out, have fun with Bridgette tonight."

"Oh yeah," Geoff said, reminded of the fact his girlfriend was sleeping over, "bye dude, see ya."

It took a bit, but all the party-goers filed out and drove away. Geoff still stood into the kitchen. He stared out at all the trash and wished he wasn't the party-thrower for once.

"Hey Geoff," Bridgette said, "I've got something to talk to you about."

This Halloween special wasn't the best but to make up for it, I will give you a list of everyone's Halloween costume.
