Hendrix

.

"So, what happened to you? What's new?" Elle's excitement is written all over her face.

"Not much," I shrug and sit down.

After yesterday's events, I organized my schedule and set aside all appointments while keeping my lunch schedule with Louise daily. I haven't spoken to the boys yet, and I haven't visited my mother since the family gathering. She wants to talk to me, and I understand her concern. However, I don't want to go there just yet as I want to focus on Louise and myself.

"Are you sure? Your mother rang me like five times! I don't know what's happening with you. She kept asking me about Louise, and I didn't know how to respond," she sighed.

My jaw tightened. "I will visit her later. Don't worry."

"Good. Give her peace of mind, please, Hendrix. She's driving me insane at times. She's worse than my mother," she laughs. "By the way, have you found your G-Dragon?"

That was another problem I had because I couldn't find it until now. I shook my head, and she handed me the cold lemonade she had made.

"Oh dear... the event is coming soon. This is no good. We have to do something."

Next week marks the seventh anniversary of the G-Dream. The old tradition remains unchanged, and yes, our G-dragons have specific rules for it.

"Next time, I want you to keep mine. I hope it will show up before the end of this week."

"I hope so. Have you checked your apartment in Dalton? You probably left it there without knowing you left it there." She smirked.

"Probably. I will double-check again."

"Yes. Double-check everything, please. And by the way, don't forget to bring Louise with you next week, okay? She will be your partner, right?"

I nod. "I have to ask her first."

"I can help her with her dress, so she shouldn't stress."

I chuckled. "I will take care of my woman, Elle. Don't worry about that," I proudly stated. There's something different in me now, and for some reason, I am confident about our relationship.

"Your woman? Oh my...god." She covered her mouth using her hand in disbelief. "You are dating her? For real?" She blinked in astonishment.

"We are truly dating, Elle. That's the correct term for it. It's not one-sided," I winked, making her eyes widen even more.

---

After a quick visit to Elle and Axton, I managed to join the meeting online before going to Louise. I couldn't even keep my eyes away from the time as I kept checking it. As the meeting concluded, I quickly grabbed my slim coat and car keys, eager to leave.

Dianne, my PA, called me to remind me of my two-hour appointment later at two o'clock. I raised my hand, signaling I would call her back before that time.

I don't know. I might cancel it.... It depends on what Louise wants to do after lunch. I don't mind us driving around the town. It's honestly fun, and I'm looking forward to it.

--

I knocked on an open door and saw her in the distance.

"Oh, come on in, Hendrix!" she yelled out.

I stepped inside, and her wonderful feminine fragrance lingered in my nostrils. She was standing on her back, with her hair tied in a bun. Her slim-fitted light blue jeans and white off-shoulder top made her body look sexier than ever.
