Itzel and Sehun approached the entrance to the cafeteria and halted. Given how long the line was to enter inside, they scooted over to the side, reluctant to line up.
"Warn me about... what exactly?" Itzel asked slowly, furrowing her brows slightly.
Sehun elaborated in a discreet and low tone, "It's regarding Stella and that gang she's a part of. They're not nice people, Itzel. They're like a trademark of toxicity."
"I figured much," Itzel muttered.
"I know you haven't been here for long but I really need to give you some sort of awareness and shed some light on them. Not gonna lie, I'm feeling apprehensive. I can't shake the feeling that they might do something bad after what happened last night," Sehun gritted his teeth skittishly.
Itzel felt a strong quiver jolt down her spine as she crossed her arms, "Huh? What do you mean? What bad things have they done?"
"I've heard a couple of stories," he replied, covering his mouth as he whispered, "From what I've heard, the whole gang is catastrophic. Basically, the gang has two sides. The first half is a mix between girls and guys, they were the people you saw last night and Stella is a part of that group. As for the second half, they're just a bunch of guys and are far worse than the first half. As you'd expect, none of them are friendly and they've done some real bad shit in the past. Even now, I still hear rumours circulating around uni and it seems like they're always stirring up trouble and causing drama."
Itzel gasped inaudibly as she covered her mouth, "Holy shit! Is Stella their leader or something?"
"No, she isn't. The gang doesn't really have a leader," Sehun clarified, "Actually, now that I think about it... there is this one tough guy who causes the most trouble and orders the group around, but I'm unsure if he's their you know main guy. Don't know if you've heard of him but his name is Devin."
Itzel scrunched her nose, "Um no, I haven't heard of him at all, neither have I seen him."
"I see. Best keep it that way," Sehun leaned inward a little, "Well, there have been many instances where I have seen shit go down. I remember last year, they were targeting the first-years and it got really bad to the point that the police got involved."
Itzel voiced in her head, "Oh god... the police?!"
"I don't know the flat-out details, but what I do know is that Stella hangs out with dangerous people. I worry that-" Sehun gulped while peering elsewhere nervously.
Itzel tilted her head to the side with a concerned look, "Worry what?"
"Nevermind. You should keep away from them. As much as possible," Sehun spoke in a grave tone, the colour from his face washed out... then he smiled plainly, "Anyway, so... may I join you for lunch?"
Itzel nodded slowly, rotating her head to view the now shortened line, "Yeah, s-sure."
The two hurried in line as they eventually made it to the front part of the cafe inside the cafeteria, scanning over a wide range of foods and drinks. All food products were displayed on silver platers inside glass cases and the drinks were kept in refrigerators. The variety of flavoured juices and wraps caught Itzel's attention, then her gaze darted towards a familiar figure behind the counter. She could hear their distinguishable voice.
"One vanilla milkshake and blueberry muffin? Alright," Mike nodded while tapping the order onto a large tablet. He began positioning the items on a white plastic tray and handing it to the student, "Here you go."
Itzel chuckled under her breath, "Pff, why is Mike helping out the cafeteria ladies? He didn't say it was a duty of his."
Mike had on the cafe's signature pink and white apron while underneath was a white denim jacket which was buttoned up. His jeans and plain sneakers were both in the same dark navy blue colour, plus he wore white ankle socks.
