"...so until further notice, we can't allow our students to attend classes, and are excused from each one." Michelle read out loud to her mum.

"I have a hard time believing it." Her mom replied. "There's no way someone could have thought it would be a great idea to put a bomb in the school."

"Well, it's just like any other school," Michelle said, crumpling the paper and throwing it into the bin, taking a seat next to her mum. "Pranksters are there, too."

"Oh god, what if..." Her mum quickly looked at her, worried. "What if it blew up while you were there???"

"No, mum, don't think about it," Michelle said, wrapping her mother in a hug. "I'm here, and I'm okay."

"Yeah, you are right." Her mom said, taking a deep breath to calm down. "So, you have a free week."

"Sounds about right," Michelle said. "That said, I'm planning to look into the studies."

"How often?" "Like...1 lesson...?" Michelle said, making her mother chuckle.

"At least 5, okay?" Michelle nodded. "But I can't take a week off to be with you, so...you would need to be alone."

"Like I can't take care of myself," Michelle said, putting on an angry face. "I promise I won't blow something up while cooking pasta...again."

"Yeah, that one situation makes me always think whether to leave you alone in this house." She chuckled.

"Oh come on, that was...4 months ago," Michelle said, beginning to think. "Or...maybe less."

"Ah, you silly little pup." Her mother said, ruffling her hair.

It always made Michelle wonder why did she call her "pup" sometimes. Like if she was a dog of some sorts. It was cute and everything, but...why?

She stood up and made her way upstairs, to her room. She planned to spend the weekend doing absolutely nothing, but now...she will do it for a week more.

Sure, she was going to at least read the chapters they were supposed to learn, but that was going to be it.

Laying down on her bed, which was still unmade as usual, she took her phone (which was hidden under the pillow for some reason) and unlocked it.

There still stood her and Valerie's chat opened.

She still wondered whether she really didn't feel anything for her, because it bothered her the whole night.

...I'm not gay...

Okay, I'm not saying you need to be. Michelle told herself.

MichelleTheGreatest: So you think I'm gay? (draft)

Should I send it? Michelle asked herself. But then...if there's supposed to be some kind of relationship between us, I shouldn't be scared to ask her.

MichelleTheGreatest: So you think I'm gay?

Val3ri3: yes
Val3ri3: you saw some straight girl kiss girl

Ouch, this sounds like insulting to me. Michelle thought.

MichelleTheGreatest: Yeah, okay
MichelleTheGreatest: For your information, I like both men and women

Val3ri3: who asked

Valerie

Maybe I was a bit harsh. She thought, as she looked at their conversation, and noticed that Michelle wasn't replying.
