"Hey! Do you have any common sense!? Do you know where you are right now!?" Alex hissed as he glared at the couple.
The woman rolled her eyes at him,
"Who do you think you are, talking to your elders like that?" She asked as she took a puff of smoke.
"Who do you think you are yelling and saying awful language at a cemetery-"
Suddenly, tattooed man grabbed Alex's neck and glared at him,
"Don't you dare talk to my girl like that you little shit-"

"M-Mama! I-I'm here!" Rosie called as she stood a few metres behind Alex.

The woman stared at her.

"Damn, look at you! Ha! You look more dead than your father! I thought you were a damn ghost for a second! Haha!" She laughed.
Alex instantly snatched the man's grip off his neck and stood back, in front of Rosie.
"How dare you say that!?" He said in a low, yet aggressive voice.
The woman continued to laugh.
"No way!? Hey, Rosalynn, is that supposed to be your man? I didn't think at all you could've managed to pull such a hottie like this one- Haha! There's just no damn way!"

Rosie walked towards Alex and took his hand.
He noticed her hands were severely shaking.

"Alex...Don't...Please leave...As quick as you can..."
"Is that your mother? You can't go to them! No way-"
"Hey! You piece of shit, piss off before I beat the fucking life out of you. This is our business." Said the man.
"Aww look at him defending you like a charming prince! Now get your flat ass here." she hissed.
Alex walked backwards, gripping onto Rosie's hands tighter.
"No."
The man's eyes widened as he walked towards him.
"What. Did. You. Just. SAY!?"
He gulped nervously as he spoke, "I said no. She's not going with you."
The woman began to laugh even harder.
"What do you even see in that bitch!? She's all just skin and bones! A ghastly looking bitch!" She laughed even more, "If you try to fuck her she'll probably die, HAHAHA!!!" She spat.

Just when the man was about to do something to Alex, Rosie yelled at the top of her lungs.

"STOP!!!"

She began to cry,
"Please...I'll go with you...Just leave him alone. He didn't do anything!"
The man looked at the woman.
"Yeah, let the guy go. Come on then." She gestured at Rosie, telling her to come.
"Hold on." Said Alex, "Just a minute."
"Ugh. Go on, quick then!" she yelled.

Alex turned around and faced Rosie.
"You have my number right?"
She quickly nodded.
He could see the fear in her face, it was as if someone was trying to attack her. But he quickly looked at her, grabbing her shoulders again.
"If anything happens, leave immediately, if you feel unwell or anything, just leave. And if you can, then head to a nearby hospital or try and find the funeral parlour, pass me your phone, I will turn on your location...If you don't mind?" he explained.
"Y-yeah, t-turn it on." She said in a panicked voice.
As he looked at the phone, he looked back at her. He then handed the phone back to her.

Suddenly, the woman grabbed Rosie's hand and walked off with the tattooed man.

All Alex could do was watch as Rosie left.

"I'm sorry..."

A few minutes later, they finally reached the corner of the street where all the old, dirty flats remained. They had broken windows and graffiti all over them.
Rosie also realised she still had the keys to her and her father's house. She gripped the keys in her hands and placed them in her pockets.
Rosie's mother then got out her own keys and opened the door to the flat.
As Rosie looked through the door, the lights were eerily dim, the living room had a dirty wooden table with scratches all over it, a ripped sofa and another table in front of the sofa which had leftover junk food all over it. There was also a small TV playing which was most likely left turned on after they left. And the worst thing of all was the smell. There was a skunk-like smell all over the flat.
