Welcome to the morning broadcast of HNTV News, bringing you the latest in hero news and updates!

In today’s breaking news, a hacker going by the pseudonym Harbinger leaked documents earlier today, regarding a Musutafu junior high school, Aldera. The leaked documents were sent to one Detective Tsukauchi of the Musutafu Police Department  at eight in the morning, in the form of an extensive database.

When we reached out for a statement regarding what the police plan to do with this information, Detective Tsukauchi was quoted as saying, “We’ve got our best men on this and we’re working with heroes to investigate, The information brought to us is disturbing and the sooner we can protect those children, the better.”

Present Mic: Nedzu, we found so much evidence.

Present Mic: This place is literally falling to pieces, the budget clearly isn’t spent on facilities and quirk use is rampant,

Nedzu: Oh dear, that is quite the predicament. You believe embezzlement is a possibility?

Detective Tsukauchi: I got video evidence of abuse of students, from both classmates and teachers. So much of this is unwatchable, Nedzu.

Nedzu: I believe it's time to put plans into action, then.

Welcome to the evening broadcast of HNTV News, bringing you the latest in hero news and updates!

Today we’re reporting on the latest news from UA, where Principal Nedzu of UA has sued Aldera Junior High on multiple counts of quirkless discrimination, child abuse and neglect. According to UA, this was spurred by the earlier investigation by the Musutafu Police Department after a series of documents were leaked by the anonymous hacker known as Harbinger. During that investigation, it was reported that disturbing evidence was found of a former student being regularly abused by fellow classmates and neglected by teachers due to his quirkless status. The student’s identity remains anonymous, as do the identities of any other minors involved, and will be referred to as IM for their safety..

At the beginning of the court case, Nedzu and his lawyer submitted a large amount of evidence in the form of a digital database, with physical documents to back it all up. When asked where the evidence came from by the opposition, Nedzu claimed that it was submitted by the family of IM which was corroborated by his lawyer and the documents. All the evidence submitted was approved, despite arguments from Aldera’s lawyer.

There were two witnesses brought in by Nedzu, one being IM and the other being KB, a young man who was arrested some months ago for similar crimes. Both took to the stands and spoke of their treatment by Aldera, their testimonies being paramount to the final verdict.

First to take the stand was IM who spoke of his mistreatment by Aldera. Years of harassment by students and staff alike, of being injured almost daily. The medical records and expense reports for school uniforms corroborated this. He spoke of the way his treatment affected him mentally, and the court-appointed therapist who’d previously seen I.M. confirmed that IM now has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from his time spent at Aldera. The Aldera lawyers tried to refute these claims, but were unsuccessful.

KB took to the stand next, and spoke of his time in juvenile detention and how it had improved his own mental state. He explained that Aldera staff continually encouraged his violent and abusive behaviour towards IM, with CCTV footage collected during the police investigation corroborating this. He went into detail about how he was singled out for his own quirk and also mistreated by Aldera, through their encouragement of his behaviour and lack of support for his own mental issues. KB’s previous court case was used as evidence against Aldera also, despite Aldera’s lawyer trying to refute this.

The trial lasted for three days and the final verdict was given in favour of Nedzu. Aldera was found guilty of all charges, with many members of staff either arrested or losing their licences. An undisclosed amount of money was paid to the families of both IM and KB, who both have stated that it will be saved for the two once they’re of age.

When asked to provide a statement, Nedzu was quoted saying, “This is a victory for both myself and the students of Aldera, former and current. Hopefully this overhaul in staff will result in better treatment of current and future students. Prejudice has no place in education.”
