—JUNIOR YEAR—

The rest of the summer had gone by smoothly to say the least.

Now here I am, starting my Junior year of high school.

We'd all been sitting in the hallway, waiting for the first bell to ring.

"EEEK!!" I squealed.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Bill groaned, looking like a dead man walking, yeah... he's really not a morning person.

"Tom and I have two classes together because he's stupid and flunked Algebra 2!"

"That checks out." Cali snorted, Tom thwacked her arm.

"What's the other class?" Lia took our schedules, gosh i'm so excited.

Usually, I hate school.

But this year I have many friends to thug it out with me.

"Debate. What are you going to argue about?" She handed us back our schedules, I shrugged. "Don't know, yet."

"Probably whether or not Tom is lying to her about how big his—"

"Ella!" I cut her off.

"I'm joking!"

"I'm taking debate too." Bill raised his hand, Dahlia nodded. "Same."

Shit... that class is going to be a blast.

"Wanna get high?" Angie asked everyone.

"No." Ten voices inclined back, including my own. She stood up with Daniel.

"Bye guys."

"On the first day is crazy." Henry remarked, watching as they walked away.

"Nah, I just got high before I got here." Quen said in response, yeah, it definitely feels like school already.

"For fucks sake, it's hasn't even been first period yet." Liam said while tiredly rubbing his eyes.

"I'm gonna go fix my makeup in the bathroom." Ella stood up, dragging Henry behind her as she always did.

"And then there were eight." Tom looked to all of us. I smiled.

Someone decided to do a big change before school started.
