At the start of this new stage, Alex returns to his family, his thoughts still troubled by his meeting with Snake. The death of his uncle and the suffering of his mother continue to haunt his mind, fueling his thirst for revenge. One evening, while walking alone in town, Alex comes across an old friend of his uncle, James, formerly associated with Donovan's business, but who has since left this universe. James, having heard about the recent commotion around Donovan, recognizes the hatred in Alex's eyes. Sensing the distress and danger in his eyes, James engages him in conversation, questioning him about his intentions.
Although Alex is initially hesitant to reveal his plans, he eventually confesses his thirst for revenge. James, touched by her determination but also worried for her safety, offers to help her. In exchange for some information, James offers to teach him some of the secrets of survival in a hostile environment and how to operate silently.Week 2-3: A strenuous workout
Under James' tutelage, Alex begins rigorous training, far more intense than anything he had done before. James' information allows Alex to learn more about Donovan. In particular, he discovers that Donovan runs his business from a network of warehouses on the outskirts of the city, where he hides his loot and meets his associates. James warns Alex, however: attacking Donovan head-on would be suicide, because the man is still well protected by a handful of armed guards, men as brutal as Snake.
Armed with this information, Alex changes strategy. Rather than attack directly, he decides to move closer to these warehouses and observe Donovan's movements, hoping to identify any flaws. James, although reluctant, supports him in this process, ensuring that Alex does not get carried away by his impulsiveness.Week 4: Meeting a rival
While observing the warehouses for several days, Alex notices the presence of another man lurking around the same building, hidden in the shadows. The man, dressed in a long dark coat, seems to be watching the area with the same attention as Alex. Intrigued and suspicious, Alex ends up approaching the stranger in the middle of the night, wanting to understand his intentions.
The man introduces himself as Marcus, a former associate of Donovan. Marcus explains that he also has a personal grudge against Donovan, having been betrayed by the latter during a deal gone wrong. The two young men, united by a common hatred, decide to temporarily ally themselves to overthrow Donovan. Marcus then proposes a daring plan: infiltrate the warehouses to recover compromising documents on Donovan, a first step that could lead to his downfall.

After weeks of preparation, Alex and Marcus put their plan into action. One night, under cover of darkness, they sneak into Donovan's main warehouse. The building is dark and silent, every corner seems charged with tension. Alex feels a mixture of fear and excitement, knowing that this mission could bring him closer to his goal.
They move slowly through the corridors, avoiding guards and locating rooms where the documents are likely stored. Eventually, they find a desk full of files. Marcus, who seems to know the place, searches methodically while Alex stands guard. After a few minutes, they find a set of letters and notes proving Donovan's involvement in various crimes, as well as the names of his associates, meeting times, and even money owed to various criminals in the area.Just when they finish recovering the documents, a guard enters the room. Alex, instinctively reacting, knocks him out before he could give the alert. Marcus and leave him the warehouse hurriedly, their hearts beating everything, but manage to escape before the alert is given.

Donovan, furious to have been robbed, orders a hunt for two intruders. He circulated summary descriptions of Alex and Marcus with his henchmen, and begins to tighten his grip on the city, threatening anyone who tried to oppose him. Alex and Marcus are forced to remain discreet, hiding and unable to go out until nightfall.
As he takes refuge in James to escape the eyes, Alex feels the weight of his actions for the first time. Revenge seems more and more expensive to him, but he remembers the promise made to his uncle. He cannot go back. His gaze darkens while he realizes that he is engaged in a war without return.
This chapter ends with Alex and Marcus, hidden, studying the stolen documents. A new plan is formed in their minds: they will use the information collected to gradually destroy the Donovan Empire. Alex's revenge is now underway, inevitable, fueled by dangerous alliances and the violence of a world where loyalty is rare and where revenge becomes an obsession.
