Cassie and Finn wake up beside each other in the soft morning light, the weight of the previous night hanging unspoken between them. Everything has changed, yet the silence feels heavy and unapproachable. Cassie instinctively pulls back, lost in her thoughts, trying to process the shift in their relationship. Finn glances at her, his expression uncertain, but he doesn't say anything.
Later, in the bustling cafeteria, Rachel gathers her courage and approaches Mercedes and Cassie, her heart racing. "Guys, I have to tell you something."
"What's up, Rachel? You look like you just saw a ghost!" Mercedes said confused.
"Yeah, spill it! You know we're all ears."
Rachel taking a deep breath. "I like Finn. I really like him."
Cassie feels a pang in her chest but masks it with a supportive smile.
"Wow! That's huge! Have you told him?" Mercedes asked curious.
Rachel shakes her head, her cheeks flushed with a mix of excitement and fear. "Not yet. I just... I didn't want to ruin anything, especially with you two."
Cassie forcing a smile. "It's totally fine. Just go for it, Rachel! He's a great guy."
As they talk, Cassie walks down the bustling school hallway between classes, trying to shake off her unease. Her confidence shines through, and Mercedes catches up with her, a bright smile lighting up her face.
Mercedes smiles, walking up to her. "Hey, babe! You're looking fierce today!"
"Isn't it incredible? Ever since Glee Club won sectionals, everyone's looking at us like we're something special. It's like we've finally arrived." Mercedes smiles.
Kurt joins them, adjusting his stylish outfit with a flourish. "Look at us! We're glitterati! I feel like Lady Gaga on a world tour. If only I had her wardrobe!"
Suddenly, Jacob steps in from the side, his expression serious as he interrupts their celebration. "Rachel, I need to tell you something important—I want to be with you."
Rachel's eyes widen in surprise, her heart racing as she processes Jacob's confession.
Kurt grinning. "Looks like we've got a love triangle brewing! This is better than any episode of Glee!"
Cassie trying to keep the mood light. "Get used to it, guys! We're stars now, right up there with the jocks and the popular kids. This is the dawn of a new era at McKinley, and we are going to rule this school!"
Just as the laughter dies down, the atmosphere shifts. Karofsky, a burly football player, and his friend round the corner, swaggering with confidence. Without warning, they hurl slushies at Rachel, Kurt, and Mercedes.
