One of my favorite sections of the park must the the daemon's lair. Metal music bursting through speakers, heavy mists and dark, guttural laughs, our encounters with these monsters were fun and entertaining!

The first daemon, who I playfully nicknamed Watcher, would often creep up behind us or watch from afar with an almost playful grin. He would attempt to "grab" our souls during pictures but could only pull a few good laughs.

The second daemon, nicknamed Seeker, had taken quite a liking to my sister and I. He'd invite us to his throne for pictures and was very pleasant to be around— that is when he wasn't trying to kidnap us to his lair 😂

For Seeker, this piece was my first real attempt at symmetry, as I attempted to draw both sides as equal as possible. The results were more or less successful but the shading came out well nonetheless.

As for Watcher, this was my first time using two different pens for one drawing: I used a 0.5 pen for the sketch and finer line art details, while 90% of the shading was made using a 0.9 pen.

The result speak for itself!

The shading and detail really stands out, a lot more compared to my previous works, which I would eventually incorporate into all my art pieces.
