Me and Luke walked for about fifteen minutes before we got to the Moonbucks cafe.

The cafe wasn't too crowded when we entered the doors, only one person was in line to order, and three people were sitting down drinking coffee.

"Are you still cold princess?" Luke asked me as we stepped into the line to order.

I signed, remembering the freezing cold weather last night.

"I'm fine now." I told Luke honestly.

"Perfect." He said happily.

I looked at the menu above the cashier, checking for anything that sounded good.

"Everything sounds good!" Shouted the voice in the back of my mind.

"See anything you want?" Luke asked, gesturing to the menu.

When he gestured I flinched, causing him to look at me confused.

His confusion turned into concern, and he opened his mouth to say something.

"Uh..." I mumbled, bringing my attention back to the menu, wanting to pick something that wasn't too expensive.

Luckily, Luke seemed to shake off his confusion pretty quickly.

"Do you have any allergies?" He asked me.

"No." I replied, still looking at the big menu.

"I'll order for you princess." Luke said with a smile.

After a minute the man in front of us finished ordering and it was our turn.

Luke stepped in front of me, prepared to order.

"Hey Luke!" The woman at the cashier said smiling.

She looked about Lukes age with dark brown skin, plain black glasses, and brown hair in a messy bun.

"Back again? You come here every morning and night!" The woman exclaimed.

"Yeah, I sure do Janice." Luke signed.

"Who's your friend?" Janice asked Luke, looking me in the eyes.

"This is Ella." Luke introduced me.

I did an awkward wave.

"Do you go to the high school down the street?" Janice asked. "Because you look kinda familiar..."

DOES THAT MEAN MY BROTHER GOES TO SCHOOL DOWN THE STREET?!?!

"Uh..." I mumbled, looking at Luke for help.

I didn't know what to tell her.
I was homeschooled, before I decided to run away that is...
My 'parents' taught me just the necessities so that I could've passed on as a high schooler.
Now I don't really know what to do for school.

"She does." Luke lied, fidgeting with his jacket zipper.

Ok then.
Sure I do!

"Cool, my friends go there. I graduated last year." Janice told me, though I really didn't care.

"What would you like to order?" Janice asked me.

I looked at Luke again.

I hate having to do that...
Makes me look like just a little kid who needs assistance.

"Two bagels and cream cheese." Luke ordered, looking at me for approval.

I nodded.

He then payed Janice and we went to sit down, waiting for our food.
