Hell is nothing like I thought it would be. It's filled with red valleys and cracked red stone. Black misty skies and wilted shrubs. There is also the screaming.
Constant screaming. A sort of frenzied rage that never seems to end. Upon landing in Hell, I found myself before a tall imposing castle. Long straight pires that ended in sharp points, tall rounded doors that led into an open room. Tiled floors of the darkest obsidian, with rocky ledges for the winged demons to rest. The castle was something of nightmares.
It made the Crimson Court look like childsplay. The crowd of angry demons stood before me, their faces twisted in hatred.
"Silence! You will hear me." I snap. The grumblings stop. Twe figures push through the crowd, an angry prince and the fallen demon king.
"This is my home. You do not have a say here!" Sauron spits, his face coming to a halt mere inches from mine. He does not have time to think before I've sunk my claws into his mind once more. Until I'm twisting and turning it into such odd shapes that he's on his knees screaming and begging for mercy. Spittle flying from his lips.
"You will bow before me." I whisper. Then to all the others, I say loudly, "You all will bow before me."
They stare at Sauron, their fallen master and do not hesitate. The demons begin to bow. One by one, they fall to their knees. One by one they bow their heads until an endless row of black graces my throne room.
Releasing my hold of Sauron, I point to a tall and veiny demon demanding that Sauron and Augustus get taken away.
"Where milady?" The demon shivers. "The dungeons, wherever, I don't care." He nods his head before taking them away.
Turning to the glittering, black ice throne, I step towards. One step, then another. Spinning on my heels, I face the crowd of demons before taking a seat, my fingers curling over the smooth arms of the chair. The only voice I hear is that of the darkness purring to me,
Welcome home, Dark Queen.
