Chapter 7:

Chris's Pov....

"She's here." My grandpa mind links us. My eyes lit up and i let out a breath of relief.

I start to make my way back home. This secret of theirs is really starting to piss me off. As i get in the house, the other boys were starting to come in. Father was talking to Ryan then Dad took off upstairs.

"Hey where is she?" I ask Pa (Grandpa)

"Shes upstairs in her room. She's tired so im guessing she went to get some rest"

"Oh okay" i looks up to see Ryan walking to his room. I follow him to his room. I knock on his bedroom door and he opens it, shirtless.

"Yea?" He stands at his door

"Can i come in? I want to talk to you about something?" I ask as he hesitates to let me in.

He sighs and opens the door wider for me to walk in. I walk to his sliding door that led to his balcony and stare out into the forest.

"What did you want to talk about?" I turn around to see him sitting on his bed.

"Why was she angry? What made her so pissed to run off like that in the middle of the night?" He starts to talk but i cut him off.

"And dont tell me to mind my own buisness or anything. Im sick of that excuse now"

He avoids my gaze and exhales heavily.
"Do you remember that story mum used to tell us every night before we went to bed?"

Finally hes speaking up, "About the Mighty Wolf Warrior or something?"

"Yea, she-" he pauses. I wait for him to finish off his sentence.

"That girl in the story, thats Aurora" he looks at me when he says it. I stare at him.

"Seriously, Ryan stop playing" Does he think im joking?

"I am serious Chris. That story, it's not a story, it a prophecy. Its Rory's destiny" he stands next to his bed and waits for a reaction.

I turn around and stare out the window glass door. "How would you know its about her?"

"Mum told dad, i overheard them talking about it on the night, of her death." I clench my fist.

"And mum shes a-"

"Shes a what?"

"Shes the goddess, Aphrodite." I turn to look at him and wait.

"You can laugh now" i say. He better be joking.

"Do you think im joking? You asked for answers and i gave it to you. If you think its a lie then i suggest you leave, since you think everythings a joke to you" he walks into the bathroom and i hear the shower running. My mothers a what now? And father, now i understand. So thats why dad spent so much time with Rora. It made sense now and now i feel guilty. Here i am thinking about myself when i should be worrying about my sister who has the weight of the world on her shoulders. How selfish can i get?

I walk to her room and knock. No one answers so i walk in anyways. She lays on her bed, her back facing me and i see her shoulders shaking softly. She's crying. I crawl into bed with her and hug her from behind. She turns around to face me and hugs me back. She cries into my chest.

"Dont cry, sissy. I'm here. I'll always be here for you. I love you." I close my eyes as i feel a tear roll down my cheek. I faintly hear her say something, "I love you too Rissy" and then i fell into darkness.

Aurora's Pov....(Next morning)

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
Pause.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

"Hhmmmm, come in." I sit up to see Chris sleeping next to me. Someone opens the door. She was freaking out.

"Nancy, whats wrong?"

Chris wakes up, "Sissy, what time is it?" He sees nancy standing by the door and then realised the panicked look on her face. "Oh nancy, whats wrong?"

She stutters, "Y-y-your Fa-Father" she manages to get it out.

"OH MY GOODNESS! EDWARD!" I hear Ma scream from downstairs and everyone else's voices of panic.

I rush downstairs. I see my father covered in blood. He was bleeding from all the cuts on his skin and massive bite mark on his leg.

"DAD!!" I run to his side as they carry him to our medical room. I cry and hold his hand as Fred, his guard carries him. They settle him down on a bed and try to stop the bleeding.

"Aarrghhh!!" My dad yells in pain.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Screaming at Fred since he was the one who brought him in.

"We were attacked."

I look to my father to see he wasnt healing, "WHY ISNT HE HEALING?!" I scream in fustration as Ryan and Colton hold me back. Ma, Pa, Jericho, Chris, Derrick and Derucce stand by our side with terror and fear in their eyes.

"We dont know! They have injected him with something that stopped him from healing!" The Doctors were panicking.

"COME ON! FIX HIM!!" Chris yell at the doctors and Derrick and Jericho had to hold him back.

"Aarrgghhhh!!!!"

"DAADDD!!!" I struggle as my brothers hold a tight grip on me. I was too strong for them as i push them off me. I grab my dads hand, trying not to get in the way of the doctors work.

"Princess, arghh!" He tries to speak as pain shoots through his body. I could hear his heartbeat fainting and his breathing was slowing down.

"Dad im sorry! I forgive you! Dad please, stay with me! You can do it, fight it!" I scream.

"Princess listen to me. Promise me you will fight. I want you to arrggh" he groans in pain.

"D-d-dad" I say hiccuping

"Its your destiny, dont fight it. I know it wont be easy but i need you to be strong, for me. I will watch over you, with your mother, okay baby? Look after your brothers for me okay princess? Aarrghhh!" His heart beat was slowly fading.

"No! Daddy please!! HURRY UP! HES DYING!!" I scream at the doctors as they rush around busy getting gear and fixing him up.

"I love you Aurora. Tell your brothers that i love them very much. I love you all very very much." He says weakly as he closes his eyes with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Dad? DAD?! DAD! DO SOMETHING!!!"

"Stand clear! ONE TWO THREE" They do it three more times till a long beeping sound from the machine was heard, that indicated he was dead.

"No, no, no daddy? Daddy?! DADDY!! WAKE UP!! PLEASE! DONT LEAVE ME!!!" I scream and shake him hoping he would wake up but he didnt. Colton pulls me back holding me while crying into my shoulder.

"DAD!! DONT LEAVE US!" Chris shouts as tears fall.

Everyone around me cries for the loss of their King, their friend, their son, their father.

Ryan's Pov....(Right after his dads death)

I walk into the forest and walk up a hill in my wolf form. I was going to become king now. My father passed the throne down to me as the others did not want to take the position. I cant believe he left us. He promised. I howl at the moon. I howl a howl that is heard around the world only to wolves to let them know that my father, their king, has died.
