Notes:
Author's Note: Oh, this is going to be hard to read and write.
Not so much for Sister, she's off doing her thing with Mosco lol. But for Witch who's going to have to come to terms with various things in her life and her baby, Shiki.Happy reading! (See you with the rest of the Note at the end!)

"Slow down!"
A small warning, delicate and smooth like her gait while Witch, with her always marked elegance, had settled on a shaded bench, watching Shiki, Rebecca and their daughter play among the statues of old attractions now abandoned. Their joyful laughter resounded in the air, a sound that filled her heart of a machine full of warmth, but also of a certain melancholy.
On Granbell, the sun shone almost always high and bright, warming every corner of the ancient playground. She, Sister and Mosco lived in peace, together with the members of the newfound family and the friends they loved. After so many battles, betrayals and challenges, they finally enjoyed the serenity of that planet they called home. The other two stars instead, Hermit and Valkyrie, had gone one on Oedo together with her daughter, Homura. The other to Norma, together with her Weisz, starting a real cohabitation after realizing that they loved each other and were ready for such a step. The two, however, made themselves heard every day in a chat group that the Shining Stars had deprived of the one they had with the whole crew. Only Homura, besides the four of them, was present in that group since she had also been a star some time ago, but she let her existence slip with the others, ruining its secrecy a bit.
As much as she had adapted to that new life, far from two of her "sister" stars, one of them who lived a few blocks away from her and her son with her again, deep in her heart, Witch couldn't help but think of all those lost years. Fifteen years of her life, years in which she could have known Shiki as her son, protected him as a mother, and rejoiced in his progress. She thought of everything she had lost without realizing it, and the pain of that awareness threatened to overwhelm her.
And then...she had a granddaughter. She was a grandmother! She couldn't really believe it.
While the green-haired woman was lost in her thoughts, Sister and Mosco enjoyed their time together. Their routine was made of small pleasures: Mosco was constantly looking for new ways to make his mistress laugh with his antics, while the white-haired woman laughed heartily, appreciating the idiocy and sadistic pleasure that only Mosco could give her. Although she avoided whipping him or doing anything too much while there was a small child with them.
"Look at that idiot" Sister said to Witch, pointing to Mosco who was doing strange acrobatics to impress her. Witch turned to look at him and smiled slightly. At least they were happy, simply enjoying the moment, their way of being a family in some ambiguous way.
The White-Haired Woman looked at her for a moment and, in her direct tone, said, "Stop making that martyr face. You look like me when I found out Rebecca was pregnant and not with my child. What's wrong with you?"
Witch looked down, as if she had been discovered. "It's... complicated," she murmured.
Sister sighed. "Everything with you is complicated." She turned to her "But you can talk about it, you know?"
The Green-Haired Woman smiled slightly, then took a deep breath. "I can't stop thinking about all the time I wasted with Shiki... fifteen years where I could have been there for him, as a mother. And then, in some universes, I died before I even knew it. I've seen other versions of myself leave this world without ever knowing that bond, while others like the human me...live it.."
The White-Haired Girl looked at her intently, and for once her tone was strangely gentle. "But Witch, you're here now. And he loves you as if you've been by his side the whole time. Doesn't that mean anything to you??"
"I know," Witch said, lowering her eyes. "But sometimes it feels like that hole is too big to fill. And I fear I'll never be able to give him what he could have had..."
Sister reached out and placed her hand on top of Witch's. "Listen, life is full of regrets, but you can't keep looking back. Shiki's had his hard times, sure, but he's here now and he wants you by his side. Don't think about the years you've lost, think about the ones you still have ahead of you. That's what matters."
Sister's words, harsh and sincere, managed to make Witch smile. "Thank you, Sister."
"Don't thank me," Sister said with a wry smile. "I'm just tired of seeing you make that lost puppy face." she said, before taking out a dog leash "Unless you-.."
"I think I'll pass"
"Oh, what a pain you are" the albino robot stuck her tongue out at her before getting up "Mosco, let's go, you dirty pig. It's time for a walk."
Later, when Shiki was alone and Rebecca was putting the baby in her crib in another room, Witch found the courage to tell him about her feelings. She approached him with her usual kind smile, and he looked at her with those eyes that, every time, made her think
be to the child she lost.
"Demon King-...Shiki," he began, his voice shaking, "there are so many things I wanted to tell you, moments I wanted to spend with you."
Shiki looked at her, confused at first, but soon understood. "You're talking about the time we lost, right?"
She nodded, a tear rolling down her face. "Yes... I didn't know I was your mother, and I missed fifteen years of your life. And across the many universes, I've known versions of myself died without even knowing who I truly was to you."
Without even thinking, her son hugged her tightly. "It doesn't matter how many years we lost, Witch. You're here now. And I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you and all of you."
With her strength renewed by that conversation, Witch began to live each moment with Shiki and Rebecca intensely, determined to make up for lost time. She spent every day with her granddaughter, cuddling her and telling her stories of distant galaxies. She smiled, because she finally felt at home.
Mosco and Sister continued to be a part of her daily life, and they also took care of her, in different ways. In that new chapter, Witch finally found peace, surrounded by the love of her family, and she knew that, despite the lost years, every second with them was worth all the pain she had gone through.

Author's Note: I have to admit something here.
I was a huge fan of the Wivry ship for a long time, and I have to say that I still really appreciate it in the arts and fanfics. (Though I preferred to leave it vague here)It cooled off a bit after I saw a lot of people mischaracterize the duo (often trying to pit the Shining Stars against each other) or oversexualize them to the max.
I mean, we're talking about a ship with SISTER IVRY so I shouldn't complain, but you get the idea.
Anyway, I hope you liked it 💗
