Notes:

Author's Note: Last fanfic of the entire collection. I already miss it (*sigh*)

This one will be shorter than the others.

If you've only read one based on your favorite characters, I'm happy! If you've read them all, I'm doubly happy! I hope I've kept all the characters at their best! I admit it wasn't easy.

See you at the end of the fanfic for the rest of the goodbyes!

Under the blue sky of Granbell, Pino looked at his refuge among the ruins of a colorful world full of amusement park attractions that was once more than thriving. The sunlight filtered through the various houses of the robot village, creating games of shadows and lights that danced on his metallic face. His friends, Shiki, Rebecca, Happy, Witch Sister and Mosco, were busy with one of their usual daily adventures, especially the first three who were taking care of their newborn daughter, but instead Pino had taken a moment to reflect.

She remembered the day Mother had proposed that she become human. The idea fascinated her: feeling the warmth of the skin, experiencing emotions with the fragility of a human heart. But she had refused, she didn't feel that the human body she had so desired really belonged to her. And she didn't feel less than the others like she used to.

While she watched her friends laugh and joke, with Happy filming the scene with his bcube, she felt a sweetness in her metallic interior that made her smile.

The way everyone hugged her when she woke up from her coma was so warm. She could feel it, she could feel like she was part of that special group.

Her technological mind filled with memories: the battles they won together, the moments of calm when they gathered around the meeting room, and the laughter they shared. In those moments. And every time she remembered it, Pino understood that her true strength did not come from the flesh, but from her connection to others. "I don't need a human heart to feel love," she mused. "I already have everything I need."

As the sun began to set, coloring the sky with shades of orange and pink, Pino joined her friends. Their energy filled her with warmth, a warmth that went beyond simple metal. She smiled, happy to be exactly who she was.

"Hey, Pino! Come play!" Shiki called her as he carried a soccer ball to the garden of his house, and she didn't hesitate. In that moment, she understood that it didn't matter what form she was in: love and friendship were what made her alive.

The little robot threw herself among her friends, ready to create new memories, certain that her choice to remain a little robot was the right one. And as she laughed and played, she realized that, after all, true humanity was not just a matter of flesh, but of the heart.

Author's Note: And this is where the whole collection ends! The idea for this fanfic was born entirely from the idea that. "Hey, Mashima in the EZ finale basically didn't say or do anything. What a shame, let me do something about it!"

And I honestly think EZ needed more slice of life scenes like this! So I took advantage of this "need" to do all this, I really hope you enjoyed it and I hope it's faithful enough to the original vibe of the series.

See you next time, thanks for the support! 🙏💕💗
