months passed and thankfully Mika didn't have to endure the breastfeeding

she understood many things on those months though

she discovered the absence of her biological parents

it seemed like that women was her only guardian.

and that's without counting her bitchy boyfriend of course.

For unknown reasonr Makomo boyfriend hated Mika, it was obvious with how much he glared at her from time to time without Makomo noticing; as if she was some kind of a pest in their life.

His name is Yoroki and Mika deemed him as an asshole.

He comes often to take care of them; mostly Makomo though, by bringing grocery and necessary stuff.

The apartment she was living in is average in size and quite simple.

Mika doesn't cry a lot unless she was hungry or dirty

which made Makomo worried for her instead of being thankful.

though Mika was thankful for her caretaker to be worried; at least she didn't despite her like her sorry excuse of boyfriend.

Anyway!

Mika wasn't able to do any activities since she is obviously a baby, so she started sleeping more or dozing off most time

that's how months passed. but it felt like years in Mika eyes.

That was until Makomo had to get back to job as a nurse since she took a small vacation after her sister died.

Makomo had to face the problem of who would take care of her niece

she can't afford to take her to the hospital with her

so she decided to hand Mika to her old neighbor while looking for a babysitter

That was the first time for Mika to see the outside world and she was beyond excited

'finally freedom!' Mika sighed dramatically while thinking  'I am sick of staying inside'

Makomo, the good aunt she is, dressed her in a small baby dress and changed her diaper in case.

Then without delay they went to their neighbor by walking, Mika was in a stroller of course

and about fifteen minutes later they stopped outside a big house

Makomo knocked the door three times and waited for a few seconds

the door cracked open and an old lady greeted their sight

"oh Makomo-chan? is that you? it's been a while!" the old woman eyes lit up but that didn't last as they changed into sadness the moment she laid eyes on the baby in her arms
