In this JJ and Kiara are both 18 and the rest of the pogues. JJ and Kiara live together as well.

Kiara was walking around the OBX just minding her own business. She needed to clear her head, with med school and working her head was very filled and she needed to decompress and relax so she went for a walk around the back roads of the town where not many people really are. She was lost in thought thinking about everything and nothing at the same time. Work was stressful and school was hard but she was doing great in her class. Kiara wasn't to aware of the people around her.

A guy suddenly calls her name which snaps her out of her thoughts. She looks over to see someone she hates. She's honestly scared of him. It was Luke, JJs dad. He starts to approach her and she backs away a bit. He says you remind me of your mother back in the day, fierce, sassy but your much prettier. Kiara was very scared of him, she says can you please just leave me alone. She starts to try to back away but he's following her. He goes don't you ignore me you brat, Kiara just kept walking faster trying to get away.

He caught up with her and grabbed her arm and swung her around. He slapped her across the face hard. Kiara fell to the ground. She was in so much pain then he kicked her hard in the leg and shouted that's what you get for ignoring me, you should know better than to ignore me. Luke just left after that.

Kiara got up her was very sore and her cheek. She was now covered in dirt with a massive red hand mark on her cheek. She didn't see the damage to her leg because she was wearing long sweats but she will check when she got home. She limped the 10 minute walk home which took her 15 minutes due to her leg. When she reached the house she seen JJs car outside but he was supposed to be at work. She walks in and he's paseing the living. Kiara trys to walk past without suspicion but he notices and says baby what happened why are you limping. Kiara said it's a long story.

JJ says that his dad is back. Kiara replys with I already kinda know that now. JJ questions her and she turns to look at him and points at her cheek and goes ran into him on my walk. JJ immediately runs over to her asking if she's ok. Kiara says she is but she can feel the tears forming and they just burst out. Kiara just cry's into JJs chest. JJ is boiling with anger towards his dad now, how could he hurt her. JJ picked Kiara up and brought her to their bedroom. He asked her if he hurt her anywhere else. Kiara said that he kicked her in her leg and it's very sore. JJ just layed with Kiara until she fell asleep. He rang the police after his dad but they said they already caught him. JJ soon fell asleep as well snuggling Kiara.
