[M/N] and his homeroom classmates sat in the auditorium, waiting for the principal to make whatever announcement he wanted. Soon enough, a teacher was the one to come up to the podium.
The teacher cleared his throat in front of the mic and right as he finished testing the microphone, the principal came running in.
The principal pushed the teacher out of the way before smiling at the crowd of students. "Hello~ students and congratulations on completing your first week! Truly, a remarkable feet!" He took the microphone with him as he walked around the stage with the teachers behind him.
"I have no doubt that all of you are being hard at work. Climating yourselves to the year ahead! So many new things to learn. Which reminds me... Mrs. Hyria has informed me that all potions brewed in the alchemy class are not to be taken from class." he turned to look at her. "Correct, Mrs. Hyria?"
He walked back to the stand with a wide smile. "Ah~, a fine start to an exciting new year. Now then, that ought to cover my quota for principally things for the day. I'm off to make a new scientific discovery!" After his speech, the principal ran to the door with a giant grin. "Good day, children!"
Soon enough, everyone fled the auditorium. [M/N] and Kawaii~Chan walked together while the girl was telling him about some kittens she saw while getting to school.
[M/N] nodded with a passive face.
While they were walking, [M/N] bumped into someone. He went to apologize but didn't get to when he was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Watch where you're going." It was Aaron.
Aaron walked away with a grumpy looking face and [M/N] stood there.
Kawaii~Chan looked at the human with a frown. "Kawaii~Chan thinks mysterious guy was rude to Tomioka~Kun!" She looked at the werewolf next to her.
[M/N] blinked before looking back at the girl. He hummed before asking her something. "Do you think I'll be able to be friends with him?" Kawaii~Chan froze before squealing.
She nodded. "Yes, then maybe Kawaii~Chan will see some ships bloom!" She grinned.
"Huh?"
"Huh."
Silence enveloped the two before Kawaii~Chan took a sniff of the air. "Eugh, Kawaii~Chan smells burnt wood and grass..." [M/N] looked around, sniffing the air as well.
He shook his head, "I smell it too..." The pair started walking and saw Aphmau and her buddy talking. "Hello, Aphmau~San." The girl jumped and turned to see [M/N] looking down at her.
She smiled before giving him a hug. "Hey, [M/N]!" She let go after smelling him. "Eww, why do you smell like grass and... Charcoal??" The werewolf shrugged. Aphmau looked between [M/N] and her friend. Then, she got an idea.
"Oh, right! [M/N], this is Travis! My not alone buddy!"
"N-Nice to meet you, sir!" Poor Travis being intimidated by a harmless boy. [M/N] shook his head.
"Just call me [M/N]."
"O-Okay!"
[M/N] looked between the two and Kawaii~Chan before he introduced the two to her. "Aphmau~San, Travis~San, meet Kawaii~Chan. Kawaii~Chan, meet Aphmau~San and Travis~San."
"Hello, Aphmau~Chan, Travis~Kun!" Kawaii~Chan greeted them. The other two smiled and nodded. As they were talking, Aphmau's mom drove up to the front as she honked the car's horn.
"Aphmau, [M/N]! Vamonos! Get your butts over here!" She took a closer look at the group of teenagers. "Wait... Is that another boy?!"
"UGGGHHH, MOM!!!" Aphmau screamed. "Stop yelling and honking the horn!"
